Review of Capitec Bank
settlement discount
I had a credit card with Capitec bank which was areas, when I was arranging to pay it they offered me a 30% discount for settling the entire amount. I later went to the bank to ask if they have proof that my credit card is now updated and no longer in areas I was told that its not. when I tried to follow up with the nimble consultant that offered my the settlement discount she said it would be updated, for months after months since 2019 I have been following it up and she was no longer responding and the worst thing is that Capitec bank has now handed me over to attorneys over money that was discounted. They dragging my name through the mud for nothing and ruining my credit record over R250.00.

I'm so pleased with the good service i received from capitec in Beaufort West. I moved to capitec today after i realized i paid to much banking fee's at my previous bank. The gentleman at the door greeted me and was very friendly asking me how they can assist me. After i explained that i needed a account, i met with one of the consultants named Bianca. She went the extra mile for me and explained all the costs and even showing me around the easy banking app. Thank you so much Capitec and Bianca. I'm looking forward to banking with you for a very long time.

Pathetic card design
Thanks to your horrendous card design, my card number has been wiped off from the back of my card. After visiting your branch in September, I was told that I would have to pay R70 for another card because I have had that one for more than 6 months of which 3 months were lockdown. At the time I visited the branch, I had the card for 6months and 3 days. Is this the pathetic service I have come to expect from your bank?

Bad Service
I'm totally disappointed by Capitec Ficksburg, since from yesterday the Deposit functionality was not working. even today, and the staff are not willing to assist or even explain what can we do to be able to deposit. I wanted to deposit for my wife to be able to load petrol as she was stranded at the petrol station. we had to asked for other people who are using other banks so that we can deposit for them so that my wife can be able to load petrol. Bad service from Capitec Bank, i will never ever recommend any person to use Capitec Bank.

I'm so disappointed with capitec, I made a mistake by transferring money to the wrong account number /cellphone number. I quickly went to the brach to to revesal, the consultant at capitec westonaria logged the query and she said she called the person I mistakenly transferred the money to, and the person did not answer. To my surprise I called the number and the person answered. I was told to wait 14 days, I went again to the branch on day 15, I was told to get a lawyer in order for me to get my 500. Today again I phoned head office, spoke to Gugu vilakazi, she told me that there is nothing she can do, I must just get a lawyer, I asked to speak to a supervisor, she muted the call after that she put me on hold for too long, she then told me that all the supervisors went to the meeting, I told her that Im going to take the matter further, she then transferred the call to Alfred malapile who was very. All I want is my money, the who the money was transferred to told them to transfer the money back to me as they holding it. My sons school is erears due to capitec

my sister was sending money form her nedbank account to me on my capitec, i mistakenly gave her the wrong account number, 2 digits mixed. nedbank tried to recall the money , capitec is not assisting at all they keep saying the is nothing they can do, they did not even attempt to call that preson, that money is for my child"s fees. please help.

Poor FNB Customer Service
I need to make use of my PayPal services, but the website says that I need to get my chip and PIN verified. I don't have any FNB accounts, yet it doesn't allow me to move past this. I spent half my day yesterday calling and being transferred from department to department. After I'd needed to top up my airtime for the third time I resorted to tweeting and emailing. It's been 24 hours and I'm yet to hear back from a company representative.

Useless Law on call
Fnb Law on call is useless. I called last in August seeking legal advice about Statravel, spoke to a lady call Ningi who said she’d send a letter of demand before the company goes into liquidation.She didn’t do that . I called 2 weeks later that is when she only sent the letter. She said she’d contact me after 7 days, 2 weeks later she still hasn’t. I’ve been calling and there’s never a pick up

FNB Credit Department Useless
Due to COVID-19, the business changed our salary dates from 25th to 1st. I phoned MFC to change my debit date from 25th to 1st. They informed me they could not change the debit date will only be effective from next month. I informed them my payment for my vehicle will not go off, but they can debit me the 1st. The vehicle payment did not go through and MFC did debit me the 1st. Know I cannot increase my Credit card limit or even apply for Smart Device due to ONE payment that did not go off. Something that was out of my control I am getting penalized. I phoned MFC asking them for all the proof to show FNB I am not behind. FNB Credit department refuses to help me! They keep on asking about letter or arrangement that I made with MFC this was done over the phone!!!! They really do not care about their clients. I know if a lot of people that is sitting huge outstanding debts not even being penalized at all.

Ive applied for an extension to my home loan 5 weeks ago and to date nothing is approved. Firstly there was a mixup on my assessment and going to a wrong reference number. It seems that no at fnb is really wanting to go that extra mile for a customer who is a pvt banker. I feel that they are totally incompetent and the service offered from fnb has become pathetic. Its going to be the reason why ill be changing banks. Giving fnb 10 years of good banking relationship its very frustrating to find that you are not given any preference even though you are a pvt banker. Why belong to a group that can't assist you but eat ur money. Apologies from homeloans is not i want but the availability of the funds

VCS RIGHTS COVER FNB
I have an account called VCS RIGHTS COVER which now has come back as RIGHTS COVER that’s been debiting my FNB account for an amount of R69 every month for the past 10 months, confusing enough is that they doit on my old card i cancelled a long time ago and FNB keeps saying they will investigate but never return my money or stop this debit after numerous number of visits ive done to the branch.
This is not right because ive repoted this morethan 5times.

Could you tell me why are the transactions getting approved when i do not have funds? Aren't they supposed to decline?
