Still waiting for my phone

I sent my phone to Mr Price Mobile for repairs and was getting SMS updates which was good. On the 22nd September they said my phone was booked in and on the 29th I got another message saying it was sent back. Now it's already the 5th October and nobody has called me to collect it. It's been more than 10 days already. I'm glad they kept me updated at first but now I don't even know where my phone is. Can someone please tell me when I will get my phone back?

Horrible service and bad customer service

Mr Price mobile converted my prepaid sim without my consent. The consultant said they are going to load airtime on my number because I purchased a phone. Mr Price is falling to solve this matter i call everyday for cancellation but they are failing. It's exam season n i cant buy data on my sim card. Sim card that isn't from Mr price. Sim card that I have been using for more than 15 years is been ruined by one sales person that sells one big fat lie

****med by Mrp cellular workshop- Payjoy

Pay joy consultant at Mrp cellular workshop branch prioritizes sales and doesn't explain that when you take a phone with payjoy they double the cash amount. I bought a R5000 phone and I had half the amount of the cash price of the phone I bought and had I known and been advised of the ridiculous interest I would've just bought another phone cash. Payjoy should do better because what the hell have you seen 100% interest of cash value and your agents don't tell us upfront. Even on their contract they don't say anything about having to pay total cash price x2. *******s please be ware

Bad review

In fact I shall wait to hear if I'm the only complaint, otherwise let them continue with judging appearances. I can promise you that business will definitely be on the opposite

Defective Cellphone

I purchased a cellphone on 13 August. Within a few days, the phone developed a serious fault and displayed a black screen, making it unusable. I returned the device to the store on 17 August, only four days after purchase. - I requested to exchange the defective phone and upgrade to another device, with me paying any price difference. I was informed that an exchange-and-upgrade was not possible. -A staff member later stated that an exchange would have been possible if I had returned the phone within seven days. I clarified that I had in fact returned it within four days, and the staff member acknowledged this and said she would discuss it with management. I have since received conflicting information and would like clarity on: Why I am being denied the option to upgrade by paying the difference. Why I was told I did not return the device within seven days when I did. Why I cannot exchange a defective device that failed shortly after purchase. Which policy or condition prevents an exchange and upgrade in these circumstances. Under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA): Section 55 gives consumers the right to goods that are of good quality, free from defects, and fit for their intended purpose. Section 56(2) provides that if goods become defective within six months, the consumer may choose a repair, replacement, or refund. Given that the phone became defective shortly after purchase and was returned promptly, I am requesting a fair resolution, including the option to exchange the device and upgrade to another handset by paying any applicable difference. Kind regards, Lesego Mohlolo

Cell phone repairs

Not bad when you buy but when you return a phone that is when the problem starts. I bought a cell phone this month and then it starts giving problems they are willing to repair it. I have been telling them that I work on my phone the hardships of not having a cellphone will start to affect my business. They are not willing to consider what I am saying I need my phone. They have many policies that are not helpful to some one who uses the phone for business. They should consider my hardships which they don't care about they should consider amending the rules or check the phone they sell to us and make sure that they are not faulty. We work with our phones

Unreasonable Claim Process – Monitor Administrators / MRP Insurance

I received a call today from Camille at Monitor Administrators, requesting “outstanding documents” for my insurance claim. When I asked what documents were missing, she mentioned a second affidavit, a selfie holding my ID card, and proof of residence. This is unacceptable. I have already been to the police station three times because of *********** staff across MRP Insurance and Monitor Administrators (Nkhlunda – 29 June, Bonita – 31 July, Nas – 31 July, Zimasa/Charlene – 7 & 10 August). Why must I provide a second affidavit for one device with two IMEIs, when no one informed me about the SIM card usage issue? Furthermore, I was never told about needing a selfie or proof of residence. At the store, I submitted my ID, account number, case number, ITC number, proof of payment, cellphone box, and all required copies. My address is already on my account, on the affidavit, and linked to my ID. The store would not have accepted my ID if it wasn’t valid. This process is unnecessarily difficult and misleading. Customers are given incomplete information upfront, yet are expected to jump through endless hoops when making a claim. You are quick to sell insurance, but when it comes to honoring claims, you create barriers.
