Poor customer service. Overpriced.
My partner and I made a booking straight from our honeymoon we were driving far back to Cape Town. The honeymoon that we came from was worth it since we received our honeymoon gifts with a bottle of mimosa and platters (biltongs biscuits cheese and feta and big chocolate) We only paid R250 for that gift. And now .... We visited Coco Vogue with a wedding gift voucher. The venue is gorgeous inside, the staff is very friendly, and our therapists gave us truly amazing massages! They were also very accommodating when our car broke down on the way and our timeslot had to be shifted. Unfortunately, a few things dampened the experience: Towels: We were caught off guard by the towel policy, as we were only informed we needed to bring two extra towels (four in total), leading to unexpected extra costs or having to run out and buy more at the shops. Clearer communication about this beforehand would be helpful. Food and Drinks: Unfortunately, the R300 snack and drinks package that comes in a glass was a major letdown. The wraps, in particular, contained no meat and were filled only with onions, making it feel like a waste of money. We could have bought proper lunch with that money since we did not have lunch. So disappointing because the owner promised to get back to me about it she never did thats why I had to make a bad review. Poor customer service.

Poor Customer Service
I had my nails done on 3 October 2026, and by the very next day, 4 October, two of my nails had already come off. I contacted the nail technician, on 5 October to arrange for the issue to be fixed, but the appointment did not go ahead because she was unwell. I understood the circumstances and was willing to make alternative arrangements. On 8 October, I contacted the salon directly and explained the problem. I was told that 9 October was the only available day for me to come in.I made arrangements to attend, only to arrive and be informed that my appointment had been cancelled. A further appointment was then arranged for 24 October at 13:15, which I accepted in good faith. Unfortunately, this appointment was also cancelled because the nail technician would not be available. What has disappointed me most is not only the fact that my nails did not last, but also the repeated difficulty in getting the issue resolved. I have been patient, communicated with the salon, and made efforts to accommodate the available appointments, yet I am still left without a satisfactory resolution. This experience has affected my confidence in both the quality of the nail service and the customer service I received. I no longer wish to receive any further services from the salon and have requested a refund instead. I believe customers should receive services performed with reasonable care and skill and should be treated professionally when raising legitimate concerns. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and improves how it handles service complaints and appointment arrangements. Based on my personal experience, I would not choose to return.

Wasted Money bad experience and will not recommend
⭐ 1 Star - Wasted money - Will not recommend Coco Vogue Beauty Bar Tygervalley I really feel like I wasted money. My voucher was R400 via ***, but I ended up spending R500 extra on towels at the spa. Total R900 for a service I was not happy with at all. Booking was a nightmare - no answer on phone or *** for a day, no confirmation, then told fully booked 2 mins after saying there is space. On treatment day I was told to bring 2 towels, arrived and was told I need 4 (2 per person). I had to buy 2 small, thin towels for R500 (R250 each) from my treatment time. They were around 70x30cm, could not cover my body. Room was very cold, no aircon control, heater brought halfway through. Full body massage did not include proper foot massage, just oil rubbed on. Could not get proper pressure because the****** had long nails. The aesthetics of the place looks really nice, but the overall customer experience is not nice. While I was raising my concerns and my disappointment, the person responding had an attitude towards me, like I was the wrong one. I would definitely not recommend anyone to go to that spa or buy a voucher for them on ***. Total spent: R900 | Date: 07 Oct 2026

Disappointing Experience so far
Myself and my husband was there on Monday 28th Sept for the package for 2. We unfortunately did NOT enjoy our treatments at all., and I must say that it was Not worth the money or the time – as We feel we waisted our money and time. And did Not feel like Kings and Queens as your statement reads. - We were 2 people – however only 1 the****** introduced her self – I feel The the****** that did my treatment could have come and introduced herself to me, before the treatment, as she will be my the****** – It's only good manners and part of good client services. - We filled in Client cards – however None was discussed with us and double checked that we were Not allergic to something/ingredients ect etc. - If I did not tell my the****** that I was pregnant– she would not have known – as she did not asks us any questions relating to our massages/treatment – which is unprofessional. - We came in for massages – However No questions was asked to us – in order to ask where is our concern, where on the body/muscles must they concentrate on etc etc – That is what a Good the****** does, ask questions – to find out where is clients concern. - I asked my the****** if the Oil/medium she was using was safe for use during pregnancy – however she had to go out and asked the manager what it was and if it was safe etc etc. – A the****** MUST know what medium/oil she is using to massage a person – what is the medium, what is the main ingredients, what is the benefits of this medium etc etc – she came back and told me it was Organic – what is Organic – what is the medium made up – she could not tell me at all. And that is something that is Very important. - I could hear my husbands the****** almost 'telling'' my the****** what to do next in the treatment as I could feel them speaking between treatments etc - example - she did not know where to put the pillow under me… - The The****** hardly said a word apart from turn around etc etc – not asking me how the pressure was etc – It litterly felt like someone was applying lotion on my body and that was it. - When she told me the treatment was finished – her hair also fell on me – A the******s hair should be tied up during a treatment. - My husbands the****** also did not ask him if the pressure was good etc – He also said – it was like she only app**** lotion on his body and that was it – no pressure on his neck/shoulders/feet etc etc. - The way my the****** was cleansing my face shows that she does not know how to do a facial at all – there was no professional manner in how she fold her hot towel/compress on my face and the way she wiped my face – the way she app**** the cleanser/creams etc etc. - She even forgot to massage my right arm. - The way she ended off my legs is definitely not a way a massage should be ended off at all , the right leg she ended off by rubbing my big toe – and my left leg she just ended – she frequently took both hands Off my body – where as a professional the****** knows that you Always keep in contact with the client on the bed – especially when you perform a massage. - When we were walking back the the****** was on her phone the whole way – which I find very unprofessional – as she was still in the presence of the clients. - When we arrived back – we still had to wait between 10-15min for the 'snacks' that was prepared – and people coming in after us – ate before us – where it should have been prepped in advanced …. The MOST disappointing point is that NO Manager/Owner Responded to my email OR *** and they definitely do not respect their clients hard earned money. Our Cost was *** - an for what? ? ? The Worst Place to go to.

Disappointing experience
I booked a Luxury Couples Spa Package for my mom and myself. The purchasing of the voucher was easy enough. When we got there, our first problem was that we did not bring enough towels - but we're told that we can hire or buy them. That was a mistake on our part, however it is extremely frustrating that you are required to bring your own towels to a spa. We asked how much it would cost for hiring. It was R150 pp to hire and R250 pp to purchase. The voucher in itself cost me R399 so paying more for towels did not make sense. We also did not want to cancel or reschedule and then pay a fee so we ended up hiring the towels. While the ladies did our massage, a foot scrub special of R100 each were offered. I asked if that was not included in the voucher and was told no. Since a foot scrub /mask is what my mom really wanted and we thought it was included, my mom said yes and she'll just go ahead and pay the R200. Once the session competed, I double checked the voucher once more and while the treatment did not include the foot srub, it did include a relaxing foot massage + hydrating foot mask. This is what we wanted but did not get. We also had a mineral rich mud back wrap that was not done. The incomplete voucher and additional charges really made this a disappointing experience. I was planning on going back end of the month with a friend but this just left a sour taste in my mouth. If services that are part of a voucher purchases is not available, this needs to be communicated and compensated for. Again, the ladies that did the actual treatments were lovely, respectful and did a great job on the treatments that were competed, however, the overall experience was disappointing

Terrible
Horrific Experience: This is by far the worst salon in Cape Town. Not only did they use China Town products. I walked out of the salon with one eye done and the other left almost glued shut. When you complain to the owner she sends you chat GPT reposes on why she won't refund you. I told her the the****** glued the lashes to my eye lid and not my lashes with the one end of the lashes poking my eyeball. She proceeded to tell me I had a reaction to the products. No **** Sherlock it was R15 lash glue.

Coco Vogue Lounge - Terrible & Unfriendly Interaction
As a new client, my experience was the worst and most unprofessional interaction I've ever had! If their online interaction for bookings is this poor and unhelpful, I can just imagine what their actual spa services must be like! On top of that, you have to bring your own 2 bath sheets for a spa treatment, and they charge high group fees in addition to the treatment cost. I had heard negative things about this place before but decided to give it a try, thinking those complaints might not be fair. However, I personally found their service to be terrible and unprofessional right from the start, especially with the requirement to bring your own bath sheets and the expensive group fees. They are the absolute worst and I will not recommend them to anyone!
