Same day delivery promise not met, second issue in same week.
Same day delivery method used for order (Friday). I then get notified late afternoon that the order will only be delivered next week Monday. Not cool. Takealot seems to be coming to deliver later and later. Even if they manage same day, its actually nighttime already. pointless on many occasions, for a service that is being paid for. Earlier this week another order, the driver came to deliver and did not have the items. He then proceeded to mark the order delivery as complete. Takealot - please invest in additional resources as it seems the service delivery and delivery in general is not what it used to be. Also, kindly can you guys maintain those three wheel vehicles as they seem to leak oil on customers driveways quite often. Thanks

Takealot's failure to deliver after spending 60K
I paid R60,000 for a DJI drone and waited 10 days for delivery. What arrived can only be described as a complete failure: a used, broken drone with no camera, no controller and the wrong batteries—all sealed in the original box. I even delayed a work trip to wait for it, and this is what they sent me. R60,000 later, I'm left with an unusable drone. Completely unacceptable. Logged a complained… but how is it possible to get it so wrong??

Stay away from Takelot
Good day This is far the worst company to deal with as they take your money and promised a delivery next day . Thereafter they now mentioned they can't deliver and schedule for 3 days later even tho it's an important item. This is ridiculous and don't use them … they are like ******** take your money and make you wait .

★ 1/5 – Misleading Same-Day Delivery Advertising! Absolutely pathetic and disappointing service from Takealot! When placing my order before 10:00 AM, the platform clearly advertised same-day delivery. Based on this promise, I proceeded with the order and made immediate payment. Only AFTER payment was processed was I notified that delivery would take three days instead of the advertised same day! This is completely unacceptable and extremely misleading. Customers make purchasing decisions based on the delivery promises displayed at checkout. Advertising same-day delivery to secure an order, only to change the delivery date after receiving payment, is a terrible customer experience. Takealot, this is not how you build customer trust! I will not be using this platform again. Very disappointing!

False advertising on TakeAlot More
False advertising. They advertise that join TakeAlot More and get same day deliveries if it show in stock. I joined and placed an order today for items that show in stock and comply to size limitations. Once order was confirmed, it was indicated that the order will only be delivered on Monday the 26th. Thats not same day foe what I am paying for.

Venting annoyed
I have been trying for days now to get 1 question answered and I am a takelot shopper. I don't understand why all channels are chatbots sometimes we still need humans. Takealot is such a huge enterprise but they have office hours from 9am to 5pm this doesn't make senses at all south Africa needs to catch up with the world because people in china do not have things like office hours or holidays

I ordered 2 items on Monday the 19th and still shocked that I am going to get them on the 17th of November cause "items are not yet ready" like seriously though🤷🏾♂️ why so long cause from my experience,a week is all it takes for one to get what they've bought,what an inconvenience I will cancel the order and never use their services
