Based on recent customer reviews, Regenesys draws sharply divided feedback. Students repeatedly praise individual student advisors and support staff, naming people like Siphesihle Jali, Zenhlanhla Msomi and Zwelakhe Swartbooi for prompt, empathetic help, and speak well of lecturer quality on postgraduate diplomas. Against this, complaints centre on unresolved refunds and cancellations, fee totals not disclosed before registration fees are paid, suspended student portals, bursary and account reconciliation errors, and finance or admin teams that go unanswered across emails, WhatsApp and calls. Graduation logistics and technical submission issues also frustrate students.

Consistent communication to students
As a student at Regenesys it is exceptoionally helpful that our Student Advisors consistently communicate with us and send through reminders of upcomming submission dates. Facilitators go above and beyond to ensure that students are prepared for success in their course. Great work Regenesys

Unfair treatment: Student portal locked, unable to write exams, while fees and interest keep piling up!
Regenesys Education claims to "awaken potential," but their actual operational practice is student ******ion and legal ************. After experiencing severe personal grief with the passing of my mother and encountering financial hardship, I attempted to communicate transparently to keep my studies going. Instead of support, Regenesys completely locked me out of the student portal, stopping me from writing exams and accessing the education I am paying for. When I previously spoke up and wrote a review about these practices, instead of addressing the issue constructively, I received threats of being completely cut off and expelled from the school for exercising my voice. To make matters worse: while they actively deny me access to portal resources and exams, they continue to pile on unwarranted monthly interest, late payment fees, and massive balance additions (including a single R27,500 "underinvoiced" adjustment). It is predatory to lock a student out of their education while compounding interest and charges on services they refuse to deliver. Intimidating students who speak out about unfair treatment is unacceptable. I demand immediate restoration of my academic access, a complete audit of these unwarranted interest charges and adjustments, and fair treatment without threats or retaliation.

Great institution & service
Currently doing my 1st year and so far I have had a great experience with the institution additionally I am thankful to Lwazi Dlamini, my Student Relationship Administrator for CompSci. He checks up on me, always concerned about my well being. Having him as my main point of contact with the school has made it a seamless experience!

Bad service and school interested on money only
Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Institution My experience with Regenesys Education has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. My sister is currently studying there, and I have been responsible for paying her tuition fees. Although there is a small outstanding balance from the previous semester and part of the current semester, we have consistently made payments and have never ignored our financial obligations. Despite this, Regenesys chose to block her from continuing her studies and academically exclude her, seemingly with little consideration for her academic progress or the fact that payments have been ongoing. It feels as though the institution is far more concerned with collecting money than supporting students and helping them succeed. What makes the situation even worse is the lack of communication and support. An assignment was due on Friday, and I emailed and called multiple times seeking assistance and clarification. Unfortunately, I received no meaningful help, no urgency, and no willingness to find a practical solution. As a result, my sister remains academically excluded. The administration, support staff, and student services departments appear completely disconnected and uninterested in addressing genuine student concerns. Responses are slow, accountability is lacking, and students are left to deal with the consequences on their own. An educational institution should support learning, guide students through challenges, and communicate effectively. Instead, our experience has been one of poor administration, inadequate support, and an overwhelming focus on fees above all else. I would strongly advise prospective students and parents to thoroughly investigate all available options before committing to this institution. Based on our experience, Regenesys has been disorganised, unsupportive, and deeply disappointing. And this is her last semester she should be graduating next year 😡😨 and all semesters paid and this one partially since I will completely pay the full semester November but no!!!! Incompetence

Bad Service
Formal Complaint – Non-Delivery of Services, Lack of Communication, and Refund Request Regenesys business school I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my application to Regenesys Business School, which has been mishandled and remains unresolved despite my repeated attempts to seek assistance. Application and Payment In February 2026, I app**** for [Programme Name] at Regenesys Business School. I paid both the registration fee and the first class payment in full. Non-Delivery of Services Since making payment, I have not received my login details or any official communication granting me access to the learning platform. This has prevented me from commencing my studies as planned. Attempts to Resolve I was in contact with my assigned advisor via WhatsApp, who informed me she was awaiting internal replies. Due to the prolonged delay, I requested assistance in cancelling my application and obtaining a refund. Instead of providing a proper cancellation process, the advisor instructed me to cancel online without providing any link or instructions. Shortly thereafter, she blocked me on WhatsApp, cutting off all communication. Breach of Consumer Rights This conduct constitutes a breach of my consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), specifically: I hereby request: Immediate cancellation of my application. A full refund of the registration fee and first class payment. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within the stipulated time, I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) and other relevant regulatory bodies. I trust that Regenesys Business School will act promptly to resolve this matter.

Refund delays
I received a bursary after I had already paid my fees and registration costs. On 17 June, I submitted a formal request for a refund and provided all the documentation requested from me. Despite several follow-ups, the matter has remained unresolved: 17 June: Refund request submitted, together with all required supporting documentation. 22 July: Follow-up email sent; no response received. 30 July: Second follow-up email sent; no response received. 3 August: Further follow-up sent. I was advised that the request was with the Finance Manager for approval. 11 August: Follow-up sent and I was advised that the request had already been approved on 1 July and was with the Finance Manager. 18 August: Further follow-up sent. I was again advised that the request was with the Finance Manager, without any clear explanation as to what action or approval was still outstanding. I am concerned about the significant delay in processing the refund, particularly given that all requested documentation was submitted in June and I was subsequently advised that the request had already been approved on 1 July. The information provided to me during the follow-up process has also been inconsistent, making it difficult to understand the current status of my request or what remains outstanding. I am so disappointed and hope it will be sorted soon. Pay back the money Regenesys.
