Based on recent customer reviews, Omoda South Africa is drawing heavy criticism across its dealer network, from Fourways and Bryanston to Cape Town City, Tygervalley, Montana and The Glen. Owners describe months-long waits for replacement parts shipped from China, gearbox and electrical failures on nearly new vehicles, bubbling smash-and-grab tinting, and unanswered emails to customer care. Many report being left without courtesy vehicles while still paying instalments and insurance. A smaller group praise individual consultants such as Zezethu, Chanel and Abrie Grobler for warm, professional sales and booking assistance.

Omoda C5 warranty repair delay — six weeks without a car
Omoda C5 warranty repair delay — six weeks without a car My Omoda C5 has been at Omoda Jaecoo Lenasia since 4 September 2026 with a gearbox fault at approximately 55,000 km. I have been informed that Omoda approved the warranty repair, but as at 16 October 2026, my vehicle has still not been returned. We have no alternative car, and this delay is seriously affecting our daily responsibilities and essential travel. I urgently request that Omoda SA and the dealership provide a written repair update, explain the delay, confirm a completion date and assist with a courtesy car or alternative transport until the repair is completed. Please contact me privately for my vehicle details and urgently resolve this matter.

Missing Property, False Information and No Accountability at Omoda Bryanston
My experience with Omoda Bryanston has left me questioning the dealership's integrity and customer service standards. Following a service on 28 August 2026, money went missing from my vehicle. Rather than investigating, staff provided a false names, promised feedback that never came, and dismissed my concerns. Escalations to dealership management and Omoda SA have produced no meaningful response. The issue is no longer the missing money; it is the apparent acceptance of poor conduct, lack of accountability, an ineffective service manager and failure to honour commitments made to customers.

Service
Please tell me why Omoda South Africa that when I call a specific dealership namely Bryanston in specific and I request a callback from a specific department (Service) it takes 2-3days ? How hard is it for someone to pick the phone up and return a customers call ? I knew the after service was bad , but I did not think it was this bad. When you do call in and you speak to someone and if they cannot assist you they will take you details down and you are under the expecation that you will get a callback shortly but I guess I will wait days on end till someone forgets and I need to callback as the customer to remind someone about the callback. Is this the type of service as customers we should be receiving ? These are all types of things I take into consideration when it will come time for me to do a trade in and if I will be choosing this brand again. Do better!

Jaecoo radio issue
Does anyone else have radio problems with their Jaecoo. Just puurchased the Jaecoo J5 inferno and being told that it's an area signal problem by the dealership however on facebook there are numerous complaints about the radio. It does not hold the station even locally. How is this possible of a 500K+ motor vehicle. I have posted on 2 Jaecoo platforms and no response.

Vanderbijlpark star Nissan service centre failure to repair an under warranty jaecoo J7 which is 2 years old.
FORMAL COMPLAINT: FAILURE TO REPAIR JAECOO J7 UNDER WARRANTY To: HelloPeter Subject: Complaint Against Nissan Service Centre – Failure to Resolve Ongoing Jaecoo J7 Problem Under Warranty Dear HelloPeter Team, I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the poor service and failure of a Nissan Service Centre to properly diagnose and repair my Jaecoo J7, which is still under warranty. The vehicle is only approximately 2 years and 3 months old, yet we have experienced problems with it on several occasions. This is extremely disappointing, especially considering that we are paying approximately R12,700 per month for a vehicle that we expected to be reliable and properly supported by the manufacturer and its authorised service centre. The latest problem is particularly concerning. The vehicle has developed a persistent sound coming from the driver’s side wheel area. We reported the problem to the Nissan Service Centre and expected them to properly investigate the cause of the noise and repair the vehicle under the applicable warranty. Unfortunately, the issue has not been properly resolved. We feel that the service centre has failed to provide the level of service and technical assistance that should reasonably be expected from an authorised service centre, particularly when dealing with a vehicle that is still under warranty. What is most frustrating is that this is not the first problem we have experienced with this vehicle. We have repeatedly had issues with it, despite the fact that it is still relatively new. Having to continuously take a vehicle for repairs is inconvenient, costly and extremely stressful. We purchased this vehicle with the expectation that it would provide reliable transportation and that, should a manufacturing or mechanical fault occur while the vehicle is under warranty, the authorised service centre would take responsibility for properly diagnosing and repairing the problem. I therefore request that HelloPeter assist by bringing this matter to the attention of the relevant management and Nissan/Jaecoo representatives. I would like the following to be addressed: 1. A proper and thorough inspection of the noise coming from the driver’s side wheel area. 2. A written explanation of what is causing the problem. 3. The necessary repair to be carried out under warranty, where the fault is covered. 4. An explanation as to why the previous service visit did not resolve the problem. 5. A proper investigation into the vehicle’s history, considering that we have experienced several problems with it despite its relatively young age. 6. A commitment from the service centre/manufacturer to ensure that the vehicle is repaired properly and safely. I am particularly concerned about the safety implications of a persistent noise coming from the wheel area. I do not believe that a customer should be expected to continue driving a vehicle when there may be an unresolved mechanical or wheel-related problem. We are paying R12,700 every month towards this vehicle, and it is unreasonable to have to continue making such a substantial financial commitment while repeatedly experiencing problems and receiving inadequate assistance from the service centre. I am requesting that this matter be treated seriously and that a satisfactory resolution be provided rather than simply being referred back to the service centre without the underlying problem being properly addressed. I look forward to a prompt response and a proper resolution to this matter. Kind regards, Buyisiwe Mosella *** LT 87 JB GP LVVDB21BXRC021074 [vanderbijlpark Nissan Service Centre [10/09/2026
