Alexander Forbes Bad Customer service
I am so disappointed in the service I received. Over week ago I emailed a financial consultant requesting a teams meeting or call back he acknowledged my email but has still not called me. I sent follow up emails to him and to the *** email address no response. My colleagues are experiencing the same issue. If this is how you treat customers then I would rather move my retirement savings to another broker.

Pathetic Service from a useless Leadership DAWIE
Dawie de Villiers can you please assist me, it seems like you running a ****a shop, no callback, all emails are ignored so WHAT THE **** MUST I DO come to your officers and make perform. It's been 8 ****en weeks..... and I still don't have my money ..... I just think you the biggest dumb **** ceo, so long as you earn a great salary everybody else can go **** themselves...... I hope this gets your attention

Waiting more than 3 months for a payout. ICT tracing services contacted me for personal details. Thinking if it was a ****. Called AF they claimed they could not help me. ICT tracimg has received their fees already. How does this work?

16 weeks waiting for provident fund
Been waiting for more than 8 weeks now yesterday I received an email and it reads as follows “ Dear Ms Baloyi, I trust you are well. Please be advised that the tax directive was received on 11/09/2026, and the claim will now be sent for checking before payment can be processed. Kindly note that the claim had to wait for the bill to be processed and finalised on the system, as no switches can be loaded during the monthly billing process. We have requested the team to process the payment as a matter of urgency today and will provide you with further update” but I checked today on calls and email still not through for payment I’m honestly tired

Alexander Forbes divorce claim
I am the Plaintiff in this divorce whereas my ex spouse is the 1st defendant and his Pension fund with Alexander Forbes is the 2nd defendant. In June 2026 the divorce had been finalized in court were I was granted my 50% share of his pension fund as we had been married in COP. Whatever Alexander Forbes requested regarding the various documents including court stamps to be stamped on every page has been met. My attorney has met every request from Alexander Forbes. I find this increasingly frustrating as its well over a week since my attorney had emailed all the relevant documents to Alexander Forbes and has not received any feedback whatsoever. This creates a huge financial strain as this pay out has been further delayed. I cannot understand why Alexander Forbes takes so long to grant us permission to complete the claim forms where all the requirements from them have met. Its absolutely ridiculous and pathetic as such a well known company provide this level of service.
