The worst medical aid
Been with Umso since 2024 but lately it has become the worst nightmare .My daughter is asthmatic and they declining what the Dr is prescribing and their reason is limit reached. How does a patient reach limit on chronic medication. I have to pay medicine from my own pocket because Umvuso declines her medicine. With an uncontrollable asthma they are rejecting. I have to go to theater this coming Saturday been waiting for authorisation forever and they keep demanding medical records. This medical scheme is killing us yet we are paying a whole lot of money

I struggled to get my hospital account settled and to get it explained as to wat it was for until I met the Gentleman on the 27 august making runs on surgeries in Rustenburg fencrest, I quickly approached them abit upset but they calmed me down and assisted me to follow up with accounts and rectified my claim. I was thinking of moving from the medical aid by November but his service really changed mine and my husband's mind regarding changing. Thank you very much for the Outstanding Service.

Authentication needed
Umvuzo I sent requested documents for authentication to your authentication team 5 days ago and this morning they sent me email from the email address I sent my documents through that they didnt received my documents AFTER I sent them yesterday and email asking how far along are they with my authentication. This is the only way I can get answers because they dont answer phones nor do they reply on emails!!!

Authorization Services
I have been trying to reach someone who can assist me with pre-authorization. My e-mails are not getting answered and when I call, I get transferred to 8 different people before the call is eventually dropped on Umvuso side.
