Lack of paid up letter!
They are so quick to call and threaten you to settle the *** yet take up to a minimum of 2 months prior to sending the paid up letter. Even after payment is made, they still call you and want you to settle your *** as though you have not done so yet. Then they promise to send the paid up letter but fail to do so and conveniently apologise for the inconvenience. This is unacceptable as we await the letter because we have already waited the 21 working days then they tell you to wait a further 21 working days!

Trash Service and Rude Receptionist
Horrible service. I keep getting emails about an outstanding tax payment which I have already settled. You reply to their emails but they never respond - like ever. The attitude of the Switch Board Operator is absolutely appalling and no matter how many times you call, she won't direct your call the correct person. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

No reply and no settlement letter as promised
I am so upset they sent me a settlement offer and I paid it before the deadline. I paid into my account but phone them and as do they see the money or can locate it. An they said that they can see the payments I must wait 14-21 days for my settlement letter and now I get mail they are not the accountant on the account and that I have not paid the settlement.

*********** & Non-Responsive
My mother waited almost three months for a paid-up letter, despite the account having been settled. After repeated delays and a complete lack of assistance, she had to obtain the paid-up letter directly from Nedbank herself. Now, despite the account being fully paid and proof of payment having been provided, we are once again receiving calls claiming that the same account has been handed over for collection. To make matters worse, while your office was supposedly dealing with the matter and had all the necessary documentation, the account was also handed over to another debt collection company. The level of incompetence, poor communication, and lack of internal control is unacceptable. This entire experience has been unnecessarily stressful and reflects a complete failure to manage what should have been a straightforward process.

Appalling Service; POP Provided but Ignored
I am writing this out of absolute frustration regarding the shocking customer and billing incompetence I am currently experiencing. I made a payment on 21 May 2026 and sent POP; I subsequently made another payment on 18 June 2026 and sent that POP as well. However, when i requested an updated statement, the company sent one that completely excludes the May payment. When i questioned this clear error, i was sent from pillar to post, I then formally requested escalation details to speak with a manager, but my request was completely ignored instead i was referred back to the unhelpful admin person, this is hands-down the worst customer service i have ever experienced.

Paid up letter
I am still in disbelief as to why a business would take almost 3 months to send a paid up letter. I had a payment arrangement for my Mom's Standard Bank account that had been handed over to NLA. I made the arrangement with someone called Makhosazana and all 3 payments were made as agreed. I have been waiting for a paid up letter since May 2026 and it has still not been received. I have been calling and talking to different consultants every other week and they all said they will enquire with their Administrative person to confirm if the paid up letter had been requested from MBD. I am beyond frustrated as we need that letter as a matter of urgency now. I am defeated 😔 😥😰

Hope that in this forum I can get some response. I had an account for Standard Bank, which was being managed via your business. I received a settlement offer on the 2026/05/19 and paid the relevant amount on the 2026/05/25. Reference number is SQ178412. Since then I have mailed though the proof of payment, asked nicely via email and calls into the call center for the proof of account closure letter. As its getting on two months of waiting, it quite ridiculous. What's more annoying at the moment, is that the account is seen as still open and other debit recovery companies are picking it up and calling me for non-payment and threating legal action for non payment. Please can this be resolved as soon as possible so that I can begin clearing my credit record.
