The worst service I've ever received. Will definately never buy from Takealot again.
I bought a Enzo rotating hair brush from them it said a bag would be included. When I received my order the brush only rotates when it's not in my hair I immediately booked a return now they're telling me a bag is missing firstly the little paper bag that was in there was the size of bag u can put a ring box in, which I made sure I returned, I wanted to be refunded, now I'm receiving emails saying this little paper bag is missing and they will return a thing that's not working, not even offering to fix or replace it. How disappointing!

False advertisement and knock-off products
My brother ordered me an Amazon Echo Dot from takealot, advertised as such, it is a compact smart speaker with Bluetooth and smart home control. Takealot then sends me an Alaxe Echq Dof, which is just a Bluetooth speaker. We send it back, requesting the item advertised and paid for but instead of sending the product as advertised, they sent the exact same blatant knockoff of the Echo dot, the Echq Dof again... Stuck with a Bluetooth speaker again. Don't use takealot. They're misleading and greedy. **** products, false advertising and just a plain dishonest company. Doubt we'll be able to receive the product we ordered, as this has happened to my father before regarding a drone he ordered a few years ago. Only reason I'm here now is because my brother wanted to use takealot to buy me gift, once again they've proven me right as to why I haven't ordered anything from takealot in ages.

Cancelled Order
Hi Takealot I am very degusted on how we as loyal customers are being treated. I placed an order the 22 of October 2026 and my order tracker said it will be delivered by 05 November 2026, but by my surprise I receive a Cancel notification. When I checked on the app i saw that the Item I have been waiting so long for has been cancelled. So I went and checked if the reason for the cancellation might be that the item is out of stock, but by my surprise it was available and the price has gone up. What ****** are you Takealot!!! I am very disappointed and Let us all rather use Amazon their service is much better.

Takealot is not worth the effort.
I am absolutely disgusted with the service from Takealot. I ordered Beko coffee machine (stating that 6 units were available). Tonight I get an email saying that the order has been cancelled due to no stock... I go on takealot and there is the same machine in stock at almost R1000 more. This will now be my last purchase at takealot. Amazon for the win. Now I have to wait 3-5 days for my refund. Your company is pathetic.
