Sizwe Stinks (2)
My first complaint that I submitted to Hellopeter concerning my complaint against Sizwe was made on 9 July 2026 and Sizwe rep**** on 10July 2026 which is all on record here at hellopeter The reply from Sizwe was the normal apology with the promise to "ESCALATE" my query for URGENT attention More than two months later I still have not heard a single word from them. The only communication that i have received was TWO messages giving me authorization numbers for myself and my wife and when I phoned Sizwe concerning these numbers I was told to ignore them because it was an error on their side!!! Do Sizwe have a Principal Officer? I doubt it very much because I sent emails on two occasions to his office and not ONE has been rep**** to. Depending on the reply from Sizwe concerning this complaint I will be forced to take the matter further to the Council for Medical Schemes and that is no threat but a promise Sizwe have been getting away with bad service delivery for far too long now and the lack of communication just carries on unabated. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!! My membership number is ***

MSA refund
MSA refund delayed and their call centre is not helpful. I have been calling and everytime I call every agent it giving me different story until I spoke to Dumisani on the 8th and he logged a call but still when I call some are telling me that they can't tell me when money will be paid into my account. This is very frustrating because first I was told that money was deposited into my account on the 4th of September and it will be available in my account on Monday the 7th.

MADE MY LIFE HELL
Sizwe Hosmed really disrupted my life January, February and March. Well the government stopped subsidies but then Sizwe Hosmed thought it’s a great idea to go straight into my account and deduct all that money from my salary which left me with less than R1000 for 3months. When I tried cancelling they gave me the run around. When they eventually cancelled they still deducted money from my salary the following month. I lost all life insurance’s, policies and anything you can think of, my kid’s school fees couldn’t be paid and they couldn’t be bothered. Now I was told to wait 4 months for MSA funds and I have been waiting…..now am being told that I have to wait for people who cancelled last year to be paid…..what does that have to do with me after you made my life a living hell. I WANT MY REFUND AND I AM NOT GOING TO WAIT.

SOMETHING IS FISHY AT SIZWE HOSMED MEDICAL SCHEME
No reply / assistance from Sizwe Hosmed after several enquiries regarding only one unpaid claim. Although I had been battling to get answers on my claim, the Medical Scheme indicated that my claim is now "stale". With this kept in mind the Medical Fund reversed an amount that was paid by them, almost a year later from a Laboratory statement and also added a new amount to this statement, increasing the amount due, with a few hundred rands. Does it sound Fishy ?
