AI Review Summary

Based on recent customer reviews, Indwe Risk Services is judged almost entirely on how it handles claims, and most policyholders describe long delays and silence. Complaints centre on outstanding assessor reports, repeatedly reappointed assessors, unanswered emails, geyser, flood, housebreaking and vehicle fire claims left unresolved for weeks or months, and rejections explained poorly. Several long standing clients felt loyalty counted for little. A minority of reviewers praised named consultants such as Ursula and Antionette for fast, friendly and professional help, showing capability exists when files are properly owned.

Follow up on Indwe Insurance for almost never accepting a claim

Following my review on my the failure to honor my claim for a ****** step ladder., that was reported to the police and one of four burglaries in one night in our area, and Indwe demanding an invoice or photo of the ****** ladder they did revert asking for my policy number which I supp****. I had already contacted them advising that I was obtaining other quotes from insurance companies. They then rep**** advising that they appreciated me being with them for over 20 years but basically stating that rules are rules and thats that. I advised them that I had already ordered a new stepladder and that I would be cancelling my insurance with them. Actually its something I should have done years ago as thinking back many more claims over the years have been rejected than accepted and if they accept a claim , your premium the following year is increased..

Indwe Risk Management Services a total ******* and a total waste of money for insurance.

My wife and I have been with Indwe for over 20 years ( Was called Prestasi) and are agents for Santam Insurance. We had a multi purpose stepladder ****** from inside our locked and previously thought secure courtyard. We have a flatlet and they also had a expensive fold-up table ****** from their secure courtyard and our neighbors also has items ****** , all on the same night. We live in what was a very secure area and have had nothing ****** for many years. I reported the matter to the police and have a police docket. This information given to the police. The ladder was purchased from Makro approx a year ago and as it was a heavy duty one cost approx. R2500.,00 . I contacted Indwe and they wanted a receipt or photo of for the ****** multi purpose ladder. I did not keep the receipt and how could I give a photo of something that was ******. I initially phoned though the claim and was sent a claim form but as a photo or invoice was impossible to obtained I have advised Indwe to cancel the claim and that I am purchasing a new ladder. I also advised them that I would be doing a Hellopeter review and getting quotes from other insurance companies . Our total premium every month is over R2000,00. Whilst I understand that insurance companies must be careful of people trying to lodge false claims I thought that after 20 years there might be some trust. Every time. which is not often, we submit a claim there is a problem. The worst being when a car drove into the back of my wifes car when she was stationary waiting for the car in front to turn into a church. My wife took photos of the vehicle driver and number plate and reported it to the police. But when Indwe discovered the driver did not have insurance, they paid for the claim but increased our insurance premium. How is that for good service to longstanding customers I

Unacceptable Delay in Processing Our Claim

Extremely Disappointed with Indwe Risk Services – Unacceptable Delay in Processing Our Claim I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the way Indwe Risk Services has handled our housebreaking insurance claim. We submitted our claim on 20 July 2026 after our home was broken into and valuable household items were ******. Within a few days, an assessor was sent to our home, and we were requested to provide proof of ownership and other supporting documents within a week. We comp**** and submitted the requested documents on time. Unfortunately, we heard nothing from Indwe thereafter. When we eventually called to follow up after 20 days, we were informed that the assessor had not submitted the required report. We were later told that the report had finally been received and that we would receive an update within two working days. Today is already the third working day, and we still have no concrete feedback or resolution. It has now been 35 days since we submitted our claim, and we are still left without any meaningful assistance or clarity regarding when our claim will be finalised. This situation has been extremely stressful and traumatic for our family. We have had to pay for the repairs for our security bars out of our own pockets because we could not wait indefinitely to secure our home again. At the same time, we are still without essential household items that were ******, including our microwave, air fryer, kettle, televisions and other belongings. What makes this even more disappointing is that my husband has been an Indwe client for more than 30 years, and we have NEVER previously submitted a housebreaking claim. We expected compassion, professionalism and timely assistance during what has already been a very traumatic experience. There have unfortunately been several housebreakings in our area since June, and we are aware of people who experienced similar incidents after ours and have already had their claims processed, with some receiving payment or replacement of their ****** belongings. We understand that insurance claims require proper assessment and verification. However, 35 days without a clear outcome or meaningful communication is simply unacceptable. We are appealing to Indwe Risk Services to urgently look into our claim, provide us with a clear explanation for the delays, and give us a definite timeline for finalising the claim. Indwe, after more than 30 years of loyalty, this is not the support we expected when we needed you most.

SERVICE LEVEL -0

I was convinced by an agent that I should move over to Indwe and I did so from Momentum. The service received from this company is pathetic. My house was flooded in May and Im still waiting for a claim number and an assessor to provide them feedback. Does it take 4 weeks to get an answer? I send continous emails and they dont respond. I never knew I was setting myself up

Indwe Risk Services is now becoming a ****

Indwe Risk Services is now becoming a ****, they are now focusing on rejecting claims. I claimed a geyser burst in March and they come back in June to reject the claim of the ceiling due to black marks and those black marks were due to the cheap paint they used the last time they did repairs. Imagine all that time in a house with damaged ceiling. You guys should me ashamed of yourself. If you don't need stress and don't have time for for costly follow ups. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

Delay in Finalisation of Claim

Despite my full cooperation throughout the process, the claim remains unresolved beyond the timeframe communicated to me. To summarise: • I promptly comp**** with all assessment requirements. • I provided all requested videos, images, and availed myself for further assessments on multiple occasions. • There were delays from your assessor (RSI), including missed agreed time windows and lack of follow-up communication. • On 10 April 2026, I was advised that the Agreement of Loss would be provided during the course of the day. • As of today (13 April 2026), this has still not been received and I have now been informed that there is no guarantee on when it will be issued. In addition, due to these delays, I have experienced further prejudice: • The insured items were subsequently ****** while still pending assessment. • I was forced to purchase a temporary replacement phone on 04 April 2026 due to the urgency of my situation. I find the delays and lack of clear timelines unacceptable, particularly after a commitment was made that the matter would be finalised last week Friday.
