Congratulations Hi-Tech Team!
I purchased a pair of Hi-Tech hiking boots on sale at an independent retialer in August. This weekend they started falling apart so I contacted Hi-Tech to see if there was any recourse and was more that impressed with their immediate response and their offer to replace them to the origtinal price at a dealarship near me. I almost immediately went to the agreed dealarship and found they were fully aware of the replacemnet and could not have been more helpful in getting a pair of boots that I would be prefectly happy with! No impenertable admin., dna samples etc!!! Many thanks to Rudi at customer care and the fantastic assistance of you staff at *** - wish I could give you a higher that 5 star rating! Apart from being a bit dis-appointed that the original pair of boots did not last more that 3 months (apparently they were old stock and deteriorate with time and have been improved), because of their amazing customer support, I am now a devoted Hi-Tech supporter - service as it should be so seldom found these days!

I would like to recognise Rudi from Hi-Tec Customer Care for going above and beyond to assist me with my purchase. I was looking for a specific pair of black Fisherman sandals in UK size 9, and after struggling to find them, I reached out to Hi-Tec. Rather than simply advising me that the product was unavailable locally, he went the extra mile to find a solution. Rudi took the time to investigate stock availability across different provinces when the Johannesburg stores had none available. After he organised for the sandals to be sent from Cape Town directly to me. He assisted in arranging a manual order and guided me through the payment process. Throughout the entire process, Rudi was responsive, professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. He kept me updated, followed through on his commitments, and made what could have been a frustrating experience feel effortless. Even after payment, he continued to take ownership and arranged the collection and delivery. This is what going above and beyond truly looks like. Rudi could easily have stopped at informing me that there was no stock in Johannesburg, but instead, he made a plan and ensured that I could still get the product I wanted. Customer service representatives like Rudi deserve to be recognised and celebrated. His dedication reflects positively on Hi-Tec as a brand, and I hope this compliment reaches his management team. RUDI THE MAGIC CUSTOMER MAN AT HI- TEC
Rudi came back to me after I returned some shoes which were too tight for my husband. He was polite, gave me time, and gave me bank details, which were not included when I had to pay in R200 for another pair. So whoever is writing the, " we will send you the new shoes" should include bank details. Rudi gave me everything I needed including bank details and the order number *** which I no longer had. He is an asset in customer care, always settling down details we as the customer have long forgotten. Rudi, thank you from me, you did a great job.

Hi-tec sparks with their service
I bough a pair of tekkies from Edgars in May 2026, it developed a tear on the right shoe and I contacted Hi-Tec to see what they could do for me.I was pleasantly surprised by Hi-Tec quick turnaround, Rudi in customer services answered me withing (yes, really!) and asked for some detail and shortly after the replacement was authorized under warranty. I went to the store at Hillfox and Bulelwa helped me quickly in getting a new pair. Truly impressed- thank you so much!

I was always convinced that hi tec sell the best running walking, hiking shoes. I have a few pairs and even gift hi tec shoes to family and friends for birthdays. I recently bought myself a new pair of black Odin W hi tec sneakers only wore them a fee time and they are now opening on the sides so disappointed.
