Bad quality hi tec shoes

I was always convinced that hi tec sell the best running walking, hiking shoes. I have a few pairs and even gift hi tec shoes to family and friends for birthdays. I recently bought myself a new pair of black Odin W hi tec sneakers only wore them a fee time and they are now opening on the sides so disappointed.
