Curro Aurora: Institutional Gatekeeping, Data Breaches, and Manufactured School Crises
My experience with Curro Aurora, in active collusion with legal representation (***) and the applicant father (Robert Page), has been an alarming display of administrative hostility, institutional gatekeeping, and severe data negligence. Despite being a joint legal guardian with unalterable rights under Section 18 of the Children's Act, I have been systematically locked out of digital portals (MyHub) and denied direct academic communication regarding my minor child. Rather than fostering a safe learning environment, the school administration has actively partnered in alienating a primary biological guardian by manufacturing false "crises"—issuing arbitrary threats of enrollment termination while withholding critical school reports. To add insult to injury, the school hypocritically attempts to claim absence and tardiness issues while ignoring students who have missed far more days without facing similar threats. Meanwhile, Curro Aurora has previously compromised private student data by accidentally emailing private academic and attendance reports for multiple Grade 3 students to third parties. Because of this institutional incompetence and breach of privacy, I am actively using the primary school contact lists to communicate directly with other parents whose children's records were compromised, to prove just how *********** and reckless this administration is. I hold complete, unedited audio recordings and documentation of their dismissive conduct. Parents and prospective families should be deeply concerned by an institution that prioritizes defensive posturing, data leaks, and parental exclusion over child well-being and statutory compliance.

******** Parental Alienation, Selective Property Banned & ********** Administrative Practices at Curro Aurora
I am writing this review to publicly expose the severe administrative misconduct, bad-faith communication, and ******** parental exclusion taking place at Curro Aurora Primary School. As a primary contracting party whose signature is on my child's enrollment forms, and as a full joint legal guardian exercising my statutory rights under Section 18 of the Children's Act 38 of 2005, Curro Aurora's management has actively colluded with my ex-partner to restrict my parental involvement. Key Misconduct & ********** Practices: ******** Property Restriction Without Judicial Authority: Curro Aurora's management, led by Joanne Quick, has enforced an "indefinite" property ban against me based purely on unilateral misrepresentations by my ex-partner. The school has completely failed to produce any served High Court Order, interdict, or legal directive authorizing such a ban. Breach of Executive Commitments: Executive Head Trusha Moodley explicitly assured me that the school would follow the official High Court Order "to a tee." Instead, the school is directly violating court orders and statutory laws by enforcing arbitrary internal emails over judicial frameworks. Absurd & Contradictory Access Policies: In an astonishing display of bad faith, Curro Aurora explicitly permits me to attend school concerts and officially invites me on property for the Grade 4 Transition Evening at Cosmic Hall, yet claims I pose a "risk" that prevents me from stepping onto school grounds for a 15-minute in-person Parent-Teacher consultation. This proves the "property ban" is entirely arbitrary, **********, and designed solely to assist in parental alienation. Calculated Notification Delays: Management regularly colludes behind closed doors, processing restrictive measures against me and calculatedly waiting 7 days before notifying me, deliberately withholding context and denying me due process. Unsubstantiated Threats of Expulsion: While the school has made severe, threatening remarks about issuing letters to expel my child, they have consistently failed to provide any formal status updates, documentation, or transparent proceedings to me as a primary contracting guardian. Conclusion: Curro Aurora is actively aiding in parental alienation, overriding statutory parental rights, & enforcing ********** administrative bans without court authority. Full audio recordings of administrative meetings, complete email audit trails, and documented evidence of their bad-faith conduct are being uploaded to CaseLines (Case No: ***) and submitted to educational oversight bodies. Parents need to be aware of how this institution treats devoted mothers who stand up for their lawful rights.

Bullying
My child has been complaining about bullying from another scholar since the beginning of the year at Protea Glen. Various other students and teachers have experienced this behaviour from this individual yet nothing has been done. It is appalling how there is no remedial action taken against the child or the parents and it seems that now our kids are in danger. Truly unacceptable

Curro Edenvale
Disappointing Experience I would not recommend Curro based on my experience. Concerns regarding bullying have not been addressed appropriately, despite being raised multiple times. There appears to be favoritism in the way certain situations are handled, which creates an unfair environment for learners. In addition, some teachers seem to lack the emotional intelligence and empathy needed to effectively support children who are struggling. A school should be a safe space where every child feels heard, valued, and protected. Unfortunately, I am aware of several families who have left the school due to similar concerns. Until these issues are taken seriously and addressed consistently, I would be hesitant to recommend Curro to other parents.

I'm disappointed with Curro Westbrook's handling of rampant cases of bullying
I'm disappointed with Curro Westbrook's handling of rampant cases of bullying. Perpetrators of bullying are left scot-free. Last week, a Grade 11 female learner filmed another learner in the bathroom while they were relieving themselves and made fun of it. They even shared the video with other learners and made fun of it. Nothing was done to the learner despite this being a serious offence that can lead to suspension and termination. What they did to humiliate another student has led to trauma for the victim. The school has become a joke as bullies are left without punishment. Authorities must take action to save lives.

Requesting paid up letters from Curro Helderwyk
This review is on Curro Helderwyk. My children( 2) were deregistered with that school in 2021due to not paying the school fees. When I started working again last quarter of 2021, I started repaying the school all the monies owed to them. The last payment was made to their ABSA Bank account on the 27th of February 2025. I have been requesting the paid up letters since then to no avail. The tendency of institution that do not adhere to the policy prescribing that when all the amounts are paid up , they must send the paid up letter within 7 days, is that they allocate new collectors to harass a person to pay to those new collector when the original with interest debt has been settled. 16 months later, I have yet to receive these letter for the two accounts settled. Can they kindly send me the paid up letters .

Ill treatment and possible ****** act.
Terrible experience where my kids are humiliated because of poor communication by finance department. I was behind on school fees, got a phone call that I need to make payment as they are not allowed in class. Made immediate payment and proof was sent to finance department. My daughter had to leave and was crying the whole day. Reassured her that all is sorted. This morning same thing happened regardless of proof of payment sent. Not sure weather this is ****** or what.
