Curro Aurora: Institutional Gatekeeping, Data Breaches, and Manufactured School Crises

My experience with Curro Aurora, in active collusion with legal representation (***) and the applicant father (Robert Page), has been an alarming display of administrative hostility, institutional gatekeeping, and severe data negligence. Despite being a joint legal guardian with unalterable rights under Section 18 of the Children's Act, I have been systematically locked out of digital portals (MyHub) and denied direct academic communication regarding my minor child. Rather than fostering a safe learning environment, the school administration has actively partnered in alienating a primary biological guardian by manufacturing false "crises"—issuing arbitrary threats of enrollment termination while withholding critical school reports. To add insult to injury, the school hypocritically attempts to claim absence and tardiness issues while ignoring students who have missed far more days without facing similar threats. Meanwhile, Curro Aurora has previously compromised private student data by accidentally emailing private academic and attendance reports for multiple Grade 3 students to third parties. Because of this institutional incompetence and breach of privacy, I am actively using the primary school contact lists to communicate directly with other parents whose children's records were compromised, to prove just how *********** and reckless this administration is. I hold complete, unedited audio recordings and documentation of their dismissive conduct. Parents and prospective families should be deeply concerned by an institution that prioritizes defensive posturing, data leaks, and parental exclusion over child well-being and statutory compliance.

When an educational institution and its Head of Legal, Louis Booyse, are confronted with undeniable evidence of data breaches, systemic portal exclusions, and safety failures, their playbook is entirely predictable: they hide behind blanket "reservations of rights," refuse to address the facts, and attempt to bully parents into silence. As Head of Legal, Louis Booyse routinely issues high-handed correspondence demanding retractions for truthful public disclosures, while ignoring the school's active complicity in overriding a joint legal guardian's rights under the Children's Act. Rather than addressing severe administrative negligence—such as mass POPIA data breaches exposing student records and intentional profile alterations in school databases—management relies on punitive bans, retracting parent meeting invitations, and shielding financial "account holders" over statutory guardians. Parents should be warned: when you expose institutional incompetence and data negligence at Curro Aurora, do not expect accountability. Expect corporate stonewalling, legal posturing from Louis Booyse, and retaliatory exclusion. The truth, complete documentation, and unedited audio recordings remain fully intact regardless of corporate threats.
