To put measures in place-Traffic Departments
All traffic departments are currently offline. Its a national issue thnx to communication. We can decide to wait or to leave.I consulted with one of the staff regarding my license that is expiring today. She said if the system does not go on today, I then have to make temporary license that will cost extra money. I asked to be issued something to state i was here on this day when my license expired and mind you 2nd In line been here very early.I was told if they have to issue anything it needs the system which is obviously offline. Why are members of the public not accommodated seeing its a problem on there side. Why should the public be punished? This is unfair and need to be addressed.I could sit here whole day and still have to carry the consequences of expired license.Mr Philander i appeal to you to put measures in place in cases like this. Why didn't i renew my license earlier?I have a whole book of explanations to shorten it(Life happens).

IDENTITY THEFT MAKES MY LIFE DIFFICULT
I bought a car April 2025 and went to the Kimberley Traffic Department for registration. I was informed that there was an outstanding fee on my name for an Isuzu Bakkie. As I've never owned an Isuzu Bakkie in my life, I was told to go to the premier's office in Kimberley for investigation. I went there and was informed that it is a matter of identification theft. They gave me papers to take to the Police Motor vehicle theft unit. After the vehicle was marked as ******, I was sent to the Kimberley Traffic Department to hand in all the proof. I saw Sammuel that is the Ntis Official. Because of this I can't renew the licences on any of my vehicles. I keep on sending whatapp messages, phoning and sending emails, but when I do get a reply from Sammuel, he said that he will find out from National. I don't know who to contact anymore as I've tried to resolve this matter and needs to get the licences up to date. I refuse to pay the R17k for the ****** vehicle.

Unprofessional
Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Conduct by Consultant Ntombi – Randfontein Traffic Department I would like to formally lodge a complaint regarding the conduct of a consultant named Ntombi at the Randfontein Traffic Department. We visited the department seeking assistance with a service, but I was extremely disappointed by the manner in which my friend, Thabo Peter Mfelang, was treated. At the time, Ntombi was standing in the kitchen area by the heater rather than attending to members of the public. When Thabo approached her and politely requested assistance, she responded in an extremely disrespectful manner, swearing at him and saying “owa nyela.” We found this behaviour completely unacceptable and deeply disrespectful, particularly from an employee whose responsibility is to provide a public service. We understand that the working conditions at the department may not be ideal and that there may be inadequate heating facilities. However, the lack of adequate heating is not the responsibility of members of the public, and it certainly does not justify an employee refusing or delaying service, nor does it justify verbally abusing or swearing at a member of the public for requesting assistance. We respectfully request that management investigate this incident thoroughly and take the appropriate action regarding Ntombi's conduct. Public servants are expected to treat members of the public with basic courtesy, professionalism and respect, regardless of the circumstances. We would also appreciate formal feedback regarding the outcome of the investigation and any action taken in response to this complaint. Location: Randfontein Traffic Department Employee: Ntombi Person affected: Thabo Peter Mfelang Issue: Refusal/delay of service, verbal abuse and unprofessional conduct.

Rigged New Computerized Learners Test
I am extremely disappointed with my experience writing the computerised learner’s licence test at the Kuilsriver Driving Licence Testing Centre. I wrote my Code 2 learner’s licence test twice. During my first attempt, I narrowly failed the Road Signs section by just one mark. I accepted the result, went home, studied extensively, and focused on the areas where I believed I had gone wrong. When I returned to write the test again on 29 July 2026, I received exactly the same result as my first attempt. What concerned me even more was that every candidate in my testing session also failed, and many of us appeared to receive the same marks. The biggest issue, however, is the complete lack of transparency. After receiving my result, I asked whether I could review my answers to see where I had made mistakes so that I could learn from them. I was told that there is no way to review the test, my answers, or the correct answers. This raises an important question: if candidates cannot review their answers, how are we expected to have confidence that the computer-generated results are accurate? Every other computer-based assessment I’ve completed has provided some form of review, feedback, or appeal process. In this case, candidates are simply expected to accept the result without any means of verifying it. I am not asking for a free pass or for my result to be changed. I am asking for transparency, accountability, and confidence that the computerised testing system is functioning correctly. I have submitted a formal complaint to the Western Cape Mobility Department requesting that my testing session be investigated and that they explain what safeguards are in place to ensure the accuracy of computer-generated learner’s licence results. Has anyone else experienced something similar with the computerised learner’s licence test, particularly at Kuilsriver or any other testing centre?

Springs Licencing department horrible service
Today I was at the Springs Traffic department to check if my fingerprints results have arrived, they checked and found that indeed they had arrived. And they told me to wait as they are still looking for my file, I arrived there at 12pm I waited until 13:15 that when I asked a security to please check or me why going on I e waiting waiting over an hour for people to find my file. A staff member there came to ask ME where my file was, with suprise I rep****: isn't the file supposed to be with you? No one ever gave me a file. He tells me he cannot find my file so I continue to wait, with other people who came for the same thing I came for, they also waited very long for those people to find their files, but lucky for them even those they waiting over an hour they got their files and were able to pay and go, even those who came after me paid and left me there. I had to leave the place without even paying for my prdp and getting a temp because it was now 14:00 and there were things that I had to do. While I was on my way already Far they then call me, first of all rude on the phone telling me that they found my file and have been calling out my name, telling me that they are knocking off soon as if it's my fault that they misplaced my file..what about all that I waited there , the people who work there have horrible Custer service.I'm very upset I'm disappointed with the horrible service I got today at that place, especially for the fact that I went there for nothing and still have to go there Monday. I beyond upset and I wish for something to be done about this. I hear that people actually do take their files home with them, it's most probably because they know that the people who work there misplace or lose those files, this unacceptable!😡
