Settlement letter taking 25-30day is madness. Consumers want to debt free especially after paying it should be hassle free
This company doesnt delay stating the debt I owe but now I have paid it with discount offered and its *** to *** account which CANNOT TAKE 3-7DAYS TO CLEAR. It is immediate and worse they are telling me to wait another 25-30days to get settlement letter once its finalised on their side i should get the letter. I need the letter and for them to skip this 25-30days of account closure, paid up letters do not take that long, this is just to delay consumers from being debt free and harrased by them with calls. SORT THIS OUT!!!!

Worse service in the world
I had a deal with Strauss Daly Johannesburg deal took over three months and I had to cancel due to their imcompetency, now they refuse to pay my money they keep on coming up with excuses instead of dealing with the seller who didn't comply, this is the second complaint against these attorneys and I will never want to work with them or even refer anyone with them I want my money with interest

Disappointed at Strauss Daly
This is for Strauss Daly in Sandton Johannesburg, the way they handled my registration is so disappointing, they got instruction from the bank and they only contacted me after a month now after three month of them not doing their job, they just realised that they didn’t do due deligence of the seller the whole documents signed by clients are completely incorrect, all of their employees who handled my files reigned what is that saying for a big law firm like this I’m very disappointed they take people for granted maybe it’s because I am black

STRAUSS DALY ATTORNEY ******S AND *****STARS
I want to share *****ulent information which is affecting us as consumers due to this company, I had a credit card which was closed over 5 years ago and STRAUSS DALY ATTORNEYS magically listed me as owing the account while it was closed, further more to open the account they stated that I made a payment of R100 while on their whatsapp they come and say a minimun amount required is R300. I never paid any accounts and I do not have a account which i pay R100 let along a credit card with FNB. . This company is affecting our credit scores and they are a *****. they tell me to contact FNB while they claim to be the collection agency. I hate this company and everything it stands for. they are a ***** and I will never pay that account. il rather suffer than pay a ***** company. . they do not even deserve a star. are they even verified. Please be weary of your credit health. we have ***** stars who magically bring accounts from the dead.

Harassment for up to date payment.
This company makes many calls in a day to customers demanding payments. They have now been calling me and sending emails. The main issue is, when I ask them to share legal documents which authorizes them for making contact with me they respond rudely as if I should not be asking or I do not know my consumer rights. The payment they are harassing me with has been settled with the bank last year and I received settlement confirmation from the bank, which I shared with these people. I wonder what else should one do for them to stop this nonsense.

Strauss Daily Attorneys - Still waiting. Still stuck. And FNB is sending me credit card offers.
My FNB credit card went into arrears while I was unemployed for two years. Once I found employment in 2026, I paid off my debt in full using their settlement offer. What should have been a straightforward resolution has turned into an ongoing nightmare — and my credit score is still suffering for it. The settlement letter runaround: After making payment, I requested a settlement letter so I could begin repairing my credit profile. I was told to wait 2–3 business days for the funds to reflect. Fair enough — I was paying from Capitec to FNB. Two days passed. Same story. Three days passed. Same story. Then the timeline shifted to seven days. No explanation, just a moving target. When I finally called to follow up, a consultant confirmed my account was at zero. I asked for the settlement letter I'd been promised. The story changed again — now I needed to wait for the account to be formally closed first. And how long would that take? 20 to 30 business days. For a letter confirming what is already reflecting on their own system. The reason given? They have a backlog of people who've settled. That's not my problem. When they need money from debtors, they expect it immediately — and our credit scores suffer if we don't deliver. The same urgency should apply when we need documentation from them. The debt amount that kept growing: Before settling, I was making monthly payments — yet my balance kept increasing instead of decreasing. I'd pay an amount and expect to see it deducted. Instead, the figure would go up. When I queried this, they sent a correction: "Our apologies, you actually owe this much." That lack of transparency and accuracy is deeply concerning. What I need FNB to know: FNB referred me to Strauss Daily Attorneys and continues to send me marketing emails asking if I'd like to open a new account or apply for another credit card. I find this tone-deaf and inappropriate. I cannot apply for a home loan — something I have been working toward — because my credit profile has not been updated, through no fault of my own. I have paid what I owe. In full. The delay in closing my account and issuing the settlement letter is the only thing standing between me and my next step. I am disappointed, frustrated, and still waiting. This is not how people who have taken responsibility for their debt should be treated.
