The best way to book for accommodation in SA
What a pleasure to book through LekkeSlaap! The whole experience was easy and seamless, and our accommodation was excellent. Everything went smoothly from booking to arrival, and we had a wonderful stay. I honestly can't fault it - such a refreshing experience and so much better than Airbnb! It's the little things - a discount for pensioners, responsive real people at the other end of each message, prompt and useful communication. I'll happily use LekkeSlaap again and highly recommend it. 🙏

What a pleasure to book through LekkeSlaap! The whole experience was easy and seamless, and our accommodation was excellent. Betroubare diens, akkurate foto's, maklike besprekings en altyd uitstekende verblyf. Nog nooit teleurgesteld nie!
Ek gebruik LekkeSlaap al jare en was nog nooit teleurgesteld nie. Die besprekingsproses is eenvoudig, die foto's is akkuraat en die verblyf stem altyd ooreen met wat geadverteer word. Betroubare diens, goeie kommunikasie en uitstekende verblyfopsies vir elke begroting. Ek beveel LekkeSlaap met vertroue aan! 😊🏡✨

Disappointed Host
On Monday the 28th of September around 15:57 I called lekkeslaap to ask for help to cancel an instant booking that came through for a one-night stay. I needed it cancelled because we had forgotten to block it on our calendar following a very hectic weekend that left our place a mess. I was clear that I needed HELP because WE made a mistake… I was met with a very rude attitude that was condescending to say the least. This lady took every chance to let me know it was all my fault… She then said to me "I don't manage your calendar…" at that point I stopped her and told her that I don't appreciate her tone and how she is speaking to me. Her attitude was very unnecessary and unprofessional! I will be removing my listing from your website. I have had multiple issues with your system. This was the last straw.

LEKKESLAAP AUTHENTISITY SHORTFALL
LekkeSlaap is a well-known hospitality service to the South African market and especially for the Afrikaans citizens BUT there is a little stone in the shoe which is seriously annoying and a waste of precious time using their website information. Searching for good standard of accommodation for a national journey is simple if the information of their partners is current (24/7 365 updated). Why I am saying this is because on the website you can search for a specific accommodation to your liking and availability BUT when you make your choice after checking the given information; trust in getting a positive reply; the opposite surprise you. In example: On the website it will indicate a partner's published specific accommodation is still available BUT when you request the booking through LekkeSlaap; it comes back that in fact the accommodation is NOT available. (and sometimes when you do your own investigation you will hear the host saying it is in fact not available for quite a while). This is not acceptable for building trust and good support. LekkeSlaap will have to up their game in the business and be more hands on for reliability for what a person sees on the web page. Whether the challenge lies with LekkeSlaap's database or their partners, is for them to resolve BUT for the Public a website need to be 24/7 365 authentic and simple to use.
