LEKKESLAAP AUTHENTISITY SHORTFALL
LekkeSlaap is a well-known hospitality service to the South African market and especially for the Afrikaans citizens BUT there is a little stone in the shoe which is seriously annoying and a waste of precious time using their website information.
Searching for good standard of accommodation for a national journey is simple if the information of their partners is current (24/7 365 updated).
Why I am saying this is because on the website you can search for a specific accommodation to your liking and availability BUT when you make your choice after checking the given information; trust in getting a positive reply; the opposite surprise you.
In example: On the website it will indicate a partner's published specific accommodation is still available BUT when you request the booking through LekkeSlaap; it comes back that in fact the accommodation is NOT available. (and sometimes when you do your own investigation you will hear the host saying it is in fact not available for quite a while).
This is not acceptable for building trust and good support.
LekkeSlaap will have to up their game in the business and be more hands on for reliability for what a person sees on the web page. Whether the challenge lies with LekkeSlaap's database or their partners, is for them to resolve BUT for the Public a website need to be 24/7 365 authentic and simple to use.

We understand how disappointing it can be to find a property that appears to be available, only to receive a response that it is no longer available when submitting an enquiry. We offer the enquiry option as some of our unique properties only accommodate bookings in this way, meaning the owner or property manager needs to confirm availability before the booking can be confirmed. Availability can unfortunately change quickly, particularly during busy periods.
We also have an instant booking filter on our site, which allows you to view properties with real-time availability and book instantly, without having to wait for the host to confirm the booking.
We will make contact with you directly to better understand what you are looking for and assist with suitable accommodation options, so that we can ensure you are assisted with your future travel plans.
Alternatively, you are always welcome to contact one of our friendly agents if you have a specific property in mind or need assistance finding suitable accommodation. Our agents are available seven days a week until midnight and will gladly assist where possible.
