Poor Service
I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from FGro Red, a Discovery broker. The offer of R1,500 (R500 for the first three months) was not explained as a once-off special, which left me feeling misled. When I called to cancel, Kwazi offered to consult his seniors about reducing my monthly premiums by adding an excess to one of the excess-free options. I was willing to consider this proposal, but he has still not come back to me. I followed up and spoke to Refilwe, whose willingness to assist was extremely disappointing. I am now running out of time and fear being debited by two insurers while waiting for FGro Red to resolve this matter. I expect urgent feedback, clear communication, and a resolution. Customers should not have to repeatedly follow up for assistance, especially when they are trying to make an informed decision about their insurance.

I was sold a policy over the phone and was told that I had no excess on the policy. They then put me through to the terms and conditions, where they then said I did have an excess. When I requested a callback they refused to call me back. I requested a copy of the call to prove that they promised me no excess on the policy and they have failed to provide me with this call recording. I have canceled the policy with the insurer directly as they refuse to call me back.

Unprofessional
The salesperson was extremely rude towards the end of the call. Shannon made promises during the call that are not permitted as an FSP. If this is the way the company speaks to people when trying to make a sale, I can’t help but wonder how customers will be treated when it comes to the claims stage. Extremely unprofessional.
