Hidden Charges billed to ***
Shocking Customer Service Terrible customer service experience. An *** was opened via Discovery Bank, after 3 months I noticed that there is a service fee on this ***, when I queried this fee and why it was deducted from my *** they indicated that this was automated program which basically penalise you if you do not deposit more than you withdraw each month. I indicated that this was never communicated to me. I have been struggling with customer support ever since, they keep sending the same automated response to each query sent regardless of what is stated in the query. They are quick to take your money but when it comes to providing any kind of service or withdraw they basically ignore you. Wish Discovery never opened this *** for me. Stay away from this institution if you value your money.

I have been trying for over 6 months to close my Equities account or withdraw my money but although it shows a balance it will not let me draw and numerous emails give me standard reply which does not work and whatsapp says someone will get back to me and they dont! I have had no response and my funds are stuck.

They reversed my share purchase after the 2 weeks when the price went up by more than 20% during that period. What is the point of investing through them if they have the right to reverse a purchase when they feel like? What is stopping them from doing it to me in future again? I am taking out all my investments and moving to Shyft.

Shocking Customer Service
Terrible customer service experience. I have been trying to do a TFSA account transfer to them for a couple of months now and the communication from them has been terrible. In the last few weeks I have called them multiple times, each time the Frist line support comes back to say someone will contact me later in the day. Not once has that happened. If they do not resolve my transfer or at least provide an update by the end of the week. I will be sending them a letter of demand to get this resolved. This is unacceptable.

POSSIBLY A **** COMPANY. SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY FSB.
RUN FAST!! Easy to open and put money in - heaven help you if you need support or try to get money OUT. They take weeks to get back to you and just close your ticket without resolution. I'm on my third ticket and in my second month as am blocked by tax compliance and trying to change my email address. I am so frustrated that I wanted to get my money out. You have to liquidate it piecemeal (with them earning more transaction fees), wait for an overly long settlement period and then my funds are still blocked. SO the circle begins again with having to log a ticket which will probably not be answered for several weeks. Needless to say their support is pretty non-existent. I am on first name basis with their whatsapp support robot who thinks this is ridiculous too! Support tickets to date: ***; ***; *** BE CAREFUL AND INVESTIGATE OTHER OPTIONS AND PLACES TO PUT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

Since then, and despite various follow ups and e-mails and complaints, Easy Equities has failed to attend to the change of banking account details, nor have they rep**** to any e-mails. Just imagine the trouble you will have to withdraw your funds ! STAY AWAY FROM EASY EQUITIES AT ALL COST AND INVEST YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
