Scores reflect the Overall AI Score for each category
Based on recent customer reviews, Checkers Sixty60 is under sustained pressure across every service theme. Customers consistently report orders marked as delivered that never arrived, chosen time slots ignored, and waits that undermine the sixty minute promise. A recurring theme is spoiled or near expiry food reaching online baskets, followed by refunds that land only in the Sixty60 wallet. Named agents and drivers do earn genuine praise, but those moments are the exception.
Top Strengths:
- •Customer Service & Support: The strongest signal in this theme is individual excellence. Named agents including Khanya, Nomaliso, Emihle and Joshua Saunders, plus store leaders like regional manager Chris, are celebrated for calling back, taking ownership and closing issues properly. Customer Service & Support (1.5) still outranks every other theme.

Checkers60: Convenience at what cost?
Checkers60 may be Checkers' greatest feat of the century, but it could also be its spectacular downfall. The motorbike drivers' behaviour on the roads is atrocious. They are a danger to the public and a permanent, moving bad adverti*****t for the brand. No home delivery is convenient enough to justify that risk. I lodged a complaint about one of these drivers and asked for a response. Nothing. Is this how little Checkers values the public, its own customers?

Checkers Sixty60 Refund Sent to Wrong Card & Support Refusing to Help
I recently logged a return (Return No. ***) for an order purchased on 3 October 2026 (Order total: R3,514.96). The specific item returned was a Kreepy Krauly Dominator Automatic Pool Cleaner Combi Pack valued at R2,999.99. When I placed the order, payment was processed securely via Capitec Pay. However, when the refund of R2,999.99 was processed on 7 October 2026, Checkers' system automatically routed the funds to a Shoprite card ending in ******64 that is saved on my profile, rather than refunding the actual payment method used for the transaction. Even though this is clearly an automated system routing error on their end, Checkers support has refused to take responsibility and is telling me to contact the card department myself to sort it out. This is completely unacceptable customer service. I expect Checkers Sixty60 to take ownership of their platform's refund logic, log an internal escalation, and correctly transfer the R2,999.99 refund directly to my Capitec account. Account/Order Reference: *** / Order placed on 3 Oct 2026 Incorrectly Credited Card: Shoprite Card ending in ******64 (saved on profile) Original Payment Method: Capitec Pay

NONSTOP NOISE POLLUTION
Checkers are a bunch of *****. They send 300 noisy ******* bikes past our home DAILY. Nonstop noise from 7:45am till 8pm. Using our street as a shortcut yet any and all attempts to get them to give a toss about how it affects our lives is ignored. 2 years of completely ignoring complaints. SELFISH CORPORATE ****. GO TO HELL, THE LOT OF YOU!

What were once occasional issues are now becoming a regular occurrence.
I have been using Sixty/60 for some time, but the level of service has deteriorated to the point where I have to question what exactly I am paying a monthly subscription fee for. The frequency of problems has increased significantly. What were once occasional issues are now becoming a regular occurrence. It seems that some of the pickers are far more concerned with how quickly they can grab products from the shelves than with actually checking the quality, condition and suitability of what they are putting into a customer's order. I have received melted ice cream, broken and damaged containers, and fresh vegetables that were of an embarrassingly poor quality. These are not acceptable standards for a grocery delivery service, particularly one that charges customers a monthly subscription. And then there is the issue of where my groceries are being picked from. Why on earth is my order being fulfilled by a Checkers store that is more than twice the distance from my home, when there is a Checkers less than a kilometre away? This makes absolutely no sense from either a customer-service or delivery-efficiency perspective. The whole point of using Sixty/60 is convenience, reliability and quality. Instead, I am increasingly having to check what has been delivered, deal with damaged or poor-quality products and question why my order was even sourced from a distant store. If Sixty/60 is going to charge customers a monthly subscription fee, then the service should justify that fee. At present, it doesn't. I am not expecting perfection, but I do expect the basics: fresh produce that is actually fresh, undamaged products, properly handled frozen goods, and some level of care when selecting my groceries. Sixty/60 needs to seriously address its picking and quality-control processes. Speed means absolutely nothing if the customer receives poor-quality or damaged groceries. At this stage, the subscription is becoming increasingly difficult to justify, and unless the quality of service improves, I will have to reconsider whether Sixty/60 deserves my continued business.

Useless support and unfair account restriction
Very disappointed with Sixty60. My account has been restricted from submitting credit requests because I have apparently made "too many claims", yet the claims were for genuine issues such as damaged, expired, missing or incorrect items, and I can provide evidence where required. I formally complained on 25 September and was promised feedback within 24–48 hours. It is now 5 October and I still have no proper explanation. I am simply told the matter is with their Credit and ***** Team. My biggest issue is simple: I pay for a delivery service. If Sixty60 delivers damaged or expired goods and blocks the in-app credit option, how exactly am I supposed to resolve it? I am not driving to a store to fix a problem caused by a delivery service I paid for. Email support clearly does not resolve anything either. Absolutely useless customer service and no real answers. If Sixty60 wants more detail, they are welcome to contact me regarding Ticket ***, although based on my experience so far, I honestly doubt they will.
