It was the worse
I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS WORKSHOP AGAIN. CAR CARE CLINIC BALLITO If you wish to go, ask a person who knows cars to take it for you. Because yes you will be ****** on top of that it's their way or no way They quoted me parts and labour. I had already done a parts quotation befor going to them (needed 5 parts changed) A part that cost R550 at a spares shop they charged me R1700,just 1 example for one part, MIND YOU THEY BUY THE PART AT THE SAME SHOP ASWELL. that's ok though its their shop they can even charge it a million it's fine I decided to go buy them myself which angered him I saw. Upon return He says he forgot to add something for labour. I said ok. 1 example again. He says coz it's a major service ( to change spark plugs, oil,oil filter and air filter) To him that's major service and it will take him 2 full hours to do. (He then adds on labour money) Then I questioned that, he said I can go to another workshop Businesses charge Hourly or a flat rate...in Ballito car care they charge both, or rather both only if you chose how things are done worse he gave me the option to buy my own parts, but his parts have guarantee HE SAID, and he will stamp my log book if i use his parts This review is not about the money but about Honesty.

I would just like to send a huge shout , out to Tyronne and his wonderful staff at Car Care Clinic Randfontein! I have had my vehicle serviced many times in the last 20 years, at numerous service centers throughout South Africa, and for the very first time, I can actually say, WOW WOW WOW! The friendliness, professionalism and outright exceptional level of service, I have not experienced before! This service centre needs an award! I felt comfortable and at ease knowing my best interests, my pocket and my expectations were being met fully, and then some! Tyrone, I don't know how you doing it, but you and your awesome staff rate highest in my books. I will surely refer all friends and family to your establishment in the future. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Car Care Clinic Northcliff. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a friendly, professional and incredibly helpful team. A special thank you to Eugene and the lovely lady at reception for their excellent customer service. They were both warm, patient and attentive, and made me feel comfortable and valued throughout my visit. The entire staff were wonderful and went out of their way to assist. Bad Car service probably not RMI accredited
Bad service on my car. Damage on my car is irrefutable Extremely disappointed and heartbroken by the terrible service and lack of accountability from Car Care Clinic Vanderbijlpark Riverside Boulevard.I took my car in on 26 June 2026 for a simple minor service. They detected faults that required removing the engine to replace a rubber band/belt. I trusted their expertise and agreed to the repairs. Shortly after, I drove the car to Mpumalanga.Just three weeks after arriving, the engine light came on, the sensor tripped, and the AT (Automatic Transmission) light turned on. I am now facing major engine and gearbox problems. These are incredibly expensive issues caused directly after their major intervention.To make matters worse, I called the branch to report this, and I have received absolutely no feedback.Car Care Clinic Vanderbijlpark needs to own up to their poor workmanship, contact me immediately, and fix the extensive damage they have caused to my vehicle. Avoid this branch if you value your car and your peace of mind. I have a 6-month guarantee on their service, but instead of fixing their clear mistake, Hendrik and Co. are trying to bully and **** me.

I am sharing this because I genuinely do not want other people to make the same mistake I did. Last year, I took my car to Car Care Clinic for repairs and paid approximately R28,000 for the work that was supposedly done. Unfortunately, I have now discovered that the issues I originally took the car in for were not properly repaired. Today, I took my car to Jeep, and after inspecting it, I was quoted approximately R50,000 to repair the damages and issues that are still present. The oil leaks are still there. The engine warning lights are still coming on. The cam sensor issue has still not been resolved, despite me having purchased new cam sensors. In other words, the problems I paid Car Care Clinic to fix were not actually fixed. What makes this even more frustrating is that I am now in a worse financial position: I paid R28,000 last year, and a year later I am faced with another R50,000 repair bill because the underlying issues remain unresolved. I feel completely let down by the service I received. In my experience, I paid a substantial amount for repairs that did not resolve the problems, and I am now having to pay again to have the work properly diagnosed and repaired. My advice to anyone considering Car Care Clinic: please do your research and get a second opinion before allowing them to work on your vehicle. My experience has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend them based on what has happened with my car. I am hoping that sharing my experience will prevent someone else from going through the same situation.
