Exceptional Service
I visited Spur Burning Arrow yesterday, 4 September 2026 and I want to personally speak on the service I received at this exact branch. The service was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff were welcoming, professional and attentive. I did not experience any form of ****** or ************** whatsoever. The manager on duty, who is a black manager, was present, extremely helpful and ensured all guests were attended to professionally. Regarding the two separate lines I observed on social media - from what I understood, one line was for guests with bookings and the other was for walk-ins / people who didn't book. This is standard restaurant procedure and was handled fairly. I would highly recommend this branch and will definitely be returning.

I visited Spur Burning Arrow yesterday, 4 September 2026 and I want to personally speak on the service I received at this exact branch. The service was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The manager on duty, who is a black manager, was present, extremely helpful and ensured all guests were attended to professionally. This is standard restaurant procedure and was handled fairly. I would highly recommend this branch and will definitely be returning.

Worst experience ever from a spur
Been coming to this spur, and spur in general for years and years and this was the worst experience I've ever had at a spur. My ex even used to work at this spur and rhen i was here literally every week. We've had numerous birthday parties here for rhe kids on days when it was packed and the vibe from the staff was great, our waiter was always friendly and came to us to ask if everything was fine, even rhe manager would come. Today this was not the case. My first drink was finished before the waiter even came to ask our food order. Only when the food arrived did we tell him we want another round of drinks. When we were finished eating did they eventually remember about the birthday song.. apparently they now only do the birthday song after the meal.. but i was still keen to order desert which we were never asked about. The only people who got desert was my mum and aunt and thats because it came with the pensoiners special they ordered. Burning arrow might not see me again. Definitely not while this management / staff is here.

Great Job, Burning Arrow Spur in Queenswood! Say Hi to Godfrey!
Most of us know the welcome feeling when visiting a Spur. And the food is great. Today was no different. But there was something else. I ordered a 300g Cheddamelt Steak, pepper sauced, medium rare and on a hot plate please. The plate arrived - sizzling hot, and the perfect combo landed in front of me - steak, plain fries and onion rings. I could hardly wait to dig in. I tried to figure out why today's meal was somewhat different. The fries were good as always and so was the onion rings. Initially the beautiful sauce caught my attention, And yet, this was still not it. I had a go at the steak and it was really, really good. But a steak is a steak, right? And then it hit me. It is definitely in the steak. It was PERFECTLY MEDIUM RARE and so tender. In my 64 tears on this earth, I have never had such a perfectly grilled steak. THAT was the foundation of the whole menu offering, I simply had to meet the griller and offer my compliments. With the friendly assistance of the floor manager, I was introduced to Godfrey and had the privilege to chat to this young man. Although he appreciated the compliment, he remained so humble taking care not to be distracted from what he was grilling at that moment. I have no doubt that Godfrey still has many steaks to grill for many customers, putting his whole heart into this great calling - making a meal and in a way life really worth the while. To the management, the waiter and all involved with my meal today, in particular Godfrey and those preparing the fries, onion rings, sauce etc. thank you for a perfect experience!
