Broken promises and Zero communication
Received an email from BritelinkMCT on 10 September acknowledging that my internet outage was due to a faulty access box. They outlined the next steps and promised to contact me once arrangements were made. I have heard absolutely nothing since. I sent a follow up email on 13 September which has been completely ignored. Extremely poor communication and service delivery. My internet is still down, 11 days!

Unfair treatment from Brightlink
FORMAL COMPLAINT REGARDING DELAYED FIBRE ACTIVATION Princeton Estate – Arcata Estate, Bloemspruit, Bloemfontein We, the Trustees of Princeton Estate, situated within Arcata Estate, Bloemspruit, Bloemfontein, Free State, wish to formally raise our concern regarding the prolonged delay in the activation of fibre services to the newly constructed houses within the complex. BritelinkMTC is responsible for the relevant infrastructure, and fibre infrastructure has recently been installed at the newly constructed houses. However, despite the installation having taken place approximately two to three months ago, the fibre services are still not operational. We have been advised that the infrastructure is not yet live. Our concern is further compounded by the fact that no firm activation date or estimated completion date has been communicated to the Trustees or affected residents. While we appreciate that infrastructure projects may sometimes experience delays due to technical, administrative, or other dependencies, the current situation has continued for an unreasonable period without sufficient communication or a clear indication of when residents can expect the service to become available. The affected residents are understandably frustrated. The fibre infrastructure is visibly installed, yet they are unable to make use of the service or obtain reliable information regarding when connectivity will actually be available. This also makes it difficult for residents to engage with Internet Service Providers and make appropriate arrangements for their households. We therefore request that BritelinkMTC urgently provide the Trustees with the following: A clear explanation of the reason for the delay in bringing the installed fibre infrastructure live. The current status of the project and details of any outstanding technical, administrative, municipal, or other requirements. A realistic and firm expected activation date. An indication of whether there are any outstanding matters involving the developer, estate management, municipality, ISP providers, or any other third party. Confirmation of the process residents will follow once the infrastructure becomes live and is available for service activation. Regular progress updates to the Trustees until the matter has been fully resolved. We believe that residents are entitled to clear, timely and transparent communication, particularly where infrastructure has already been installed and the remaining issue is its activation. As Trustees, we have a responsibility to raise residents' concerns and ensure that matters affecting the functionality, services and overall living experience within Princeton Estate receive appropriate attention. We therefore request that BritelinkMTC treat this matter as urgent and provide a written response, together with a clear timeframe for activation. We would appreciate a response within a reasonable timeframe so that we can provide the affected residents with accurate information rather than continuing to advise them that there is no confirmed date. We look forward to your urgent attention to this matter and to the fibre infrastructure being brought live and fully operational as soon as reasonably possible. Kind regards The Trustees Princeton Estate Arcata Estate Bloemspruit, Bloemfontein Free State

NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAD SUCH POOR SERVICES
Dear Britelink Support Team, I am writing to formally escalate my concerns regarding repeated missed fibre installation appointments at my Centurion address. Despite multiple scheduled dates, technicians have not arrived and the one who did left and never came back( i can supply more detail if needed ), and no clear commitment has been provided. Vumatel ref nr. LVC-*** To date, I have lifted my pavement as requested, experienced several reschedules without resolution. This has caused significant inconvenience and has delayed my access to reliable internet services and my ability to work from home. I kindly request the following: - Immediate escalation of my case to a supervisor or manager. - A firm and reliable committed installation date, with the assigned capable technician’s name - Written confirmation of the appointment. ( I can supply multiple email confirmations if requested ) Please treat this matter with urgency and provide a clear resolution. Thank you for your prompt attention. Sincerely, Werner Pretorius

Pathetic Service BriteLinkMCT
I am without Wi-Fi for 4 days now and BriteLinkMCT is not responding to Vumatel's request to call me to do a re-installation. I have not received any feedback or calls form BriteLinkMCT. What kind of service are they running. We pay our monthly subscription to Afrihost on time and this is the type of service you get when you report a fault.
