Rather pick a different ISP that will care
My grandmother has had intermittent connectivity. She stays in an old age home where they stay in separate units and where most of the elderly depend on an internet connection to contact the outside world.
For 4 days, she had no connectivity. We tried contacting Zoom Networks via the only phone number they had, and couldnt get through to anyone. Up to now, we have not received any emails back after pleading with Zoom Networks to please let us know what is happening. Her internet connection luckily came back on, but Zoom Networks is dead silent and doesn't even acknowledge their customers.
It's absolutely disgusting to leave elderly people with no way to contact anyone, and its ********* not to answer any emails or phone calls. As an ISP, it is your DUTY to let your clients know what is going on. It is your RESPONSIBILITY to answer emails and phone calls to do with faults.
The fact that you're not jumping into action speaks volumes. It's a competitive industry, so if you don't look after your clients, someone else will.
