Very rocky first experience

Very rocky first experience dodging around unpublished restrictions on MySQL database names, user names and passwords where it needed five people from the helpdesk using a chat interface that obscures 15% of the screen that is essential to the interaction. The helpdesk provided 3 conflicting sets of rules for the password requirements with the validation messages on the form providing more red herrings. Will need to back out of this if things don't get better quickly.
