Horrible customer service of late

I honestly have no idea what is going on with this company. They used to be responsive and their customer service was helpful, but lately we have been unable to reach them at all. We have spent 1 hour and 30 minutes on the phone using our own airtime trying to get a technician to help us , only to get no response. Today, we tried again and waited a further 15 minutes with nobody answering the call. We also opened a support ticket through their chatbot yesterday but we still have not received any assistance. This is particularly frustrating because we cannot access our business email address and emails sent from our personal email addresses are either not being received or are being flagged as spam/****. For a business relying on email communication this is completely unacceptable. We need urgent assistance and the lack of customer support is making an already serious issue even worse.

unable to communicate with these people

when I 1st contracted with hetzner, before they became xneelo I had excellent service. it has since deteriorated to mediocre at best. I cannot email them because I cannot log in . I cannot phone them because their numbers just say " unable to connect call" . a far cry from the phone being picked ip by a service consultant within 3 rings when I first joined. there is increasing downtime. They ate prob ably unaware they have issues because their clients , like me, probably can't get through to them.

Extremely disappointing experience with Xneelo.

We have now been experiencing an outage for 7 days and counting. We have a server with Xneelo, as well as at least five websites hosted with them, and we have been unable to receive emails throughout this period. The impact on our business has been significant. We are currently unable to access our Takealot Seller account because we cannot receive the OTP required for authentication. Takealot is a core source of revenue for our small, family-owned business, so being locked out of our seller portal for a week has had a serious financial impact. We understand that technical issues can happen, but seven days of disruption is unacceptable for a hosting provider. What is particularly frustrating is the lack of clear communication. The updates we have received have been ambiguous, and after seven days we still have no meaningful ETA for when the issue will be resolved. We chose Xneelo expecting reliable hosting and professional support. Unfortunately, this experience has fallen well short of those expectations.

***********

FIVE DAYS and counting of very severe email problems that affects probably thousands of businesses. FIVE days since the issue started and one can not receive or send mails. And they still have no idea how long it will take to fix the problem! Fixed something on Monday which broke something else on Tuesday and so we plod along, does not matter how it affects businesses that depend on a reliable email service provider ...

No email the whole week!!!

We have had zero email service this whole week!! Appalling service. They have a notification about Jhb outages, however we are in CT. They did a migration last weekend and somebody stuffed it up. Zero communication. Zero apologies. I have had to resort to Gmail for my work. How embarrassing. Xneelo, get your **** together!!

*********** Server Migrations and No Fai***** – Completely Useless for Business Hosting

Xneelo’s handling of this ongoing Johannesburg shared hosting disaster is completely indefensible, and it affects businesses all over South Africa. They are a major web host, yet they think it's acceptable to run heavy, unmitigated storage and operating system upgrades live on production servers during broad daylight. Where is the basic engineering competence? Where is the contingency planning? Why wasn't this done safely in a controlled maintenance window at night, and why weren't shared hosts migrated safely to alternative servers or fai***** nodes before tearing up the live infrastructure? Instead, companies—including manufacturing hubs and everyday businesses—are left completely blind in the water for days. Email pipelines are dead, IMAP connections are timing out, and communication with major clients is grinding to a halt. Their only response is hiding behind vague status page updates telling everyone to just deal with the bottleneck while they scramble to fix their own self-inflicted mess. It shows a staggering lack of respect for customers whose livelihoods depend on this infrastructure. If you're going to run enterprise-level shared hosting services, you don't treat production environments like a live laboratory experiment and expect businesses to just absorb the commercial damage. Absolutely useless.
