****mer of sick people
What a **** business. Bought a knee brace brought under the impression that the item was manufactured in RSA. As I waited for delivery I noticed that the tracking was from China which was a red light. After 20 working days the package arrived. What bad item. I bought at R799 and Temu sells the exact item for R128. I asked my money and was send a mail advising me to send the item back to a mr Chang in wuhan at my own cost. What a dirty trick. I rep**** and telling the seller in RSA that I did not do business with Chang and CapeTread must refund me in full. I do not have high hopes getting anything from this ****mer.

Not worth it.
Not a true South African company, you order from CapeTread but the package comes directly from China. Product is not as described and to return it, you have to send it back to China at your cost for a refund.

Product not as advertised
My parents saw Capetread advertising on FB and it showed amazing reviews. It was on "special" for R799. The FB page stated that this is a South African made product. My mom has knee osteo-arthritis so wanted to try it seeing as the reviews are so good. The product ended up coming from China, it is not a Capetread Surestep as advertised (it is a Aolike) and you can buy exactly the same thing on Temu for R115 (I just checked). I emailed them but no contact. No address. No contact number. Shameful to exploit people with painful conditions like this. Please stay far away from this company

Conflicting refund policy - something doesn't feel right...
I noticed their very convincing testimonial advert on Meta, but I always check their refund policy. I wrote them asking the following - they haven't responded. I'd stay away from them... Hi, you advertise 90-day money back guarantee if not entirely satisfied with your product. But the Company Policy Refund policy clearly states a 30-day return refund policy only for unused product in original packaging. You can’t have it both ways… so why are both policy statements on your web page?

Stay away from Cape Tread
I clicked through to this company on a Mete adverti*****t. They offer knee braces for sale. I ordered a knee brace on 25 April but has not hear from them since. I suspect I have been ****med. I am a 70 year old pensioner.
