wirulink terrible company to deal with

I have been a loyal very good paying customer of wirulink for more than a year now. I signed up on a so called "black friday special" I paid R5,100-00 upfront cash to have my equipment installed. Well on Saturday the lightning hit the equipment and both router and dish was damaged. On Monday Wirulink sent out their team, who told me both dish and router needed to be replaced all on my cost, which ended up being R9,619-00 now in the contract you sign they do mention you have to have it insured but I am wondering who actually reads all these things and at this cost I personally feel this should be a bold highlighted bring to the customers specific attention detail as to replace costs a fortune specially when I paid R5,100-00 for equipment that never becomes mine. After complaining to a manager because when I originally singed up I was suppose to get new equipment which I didn't only after they lost a tower and were forced to replace my equipment did I get what I originally was suppose to get. Now here is my warning to all consumers, be careful, wirulink is very expensive you pay a ridiculous amount to have the equipment installed, it never becomes yours but you take all responsibility for it, and when you cancel they slap you with another ridiculous invoice for removal of their equipment, and if that's not all. After being without internet since Saturday, I work from home and was in a situation where I had to just let them replace the equipment because I needed to work, their team hardly left my place and I had the R9619-00 invoice that they wanted their money for, well since they replaced the equipment I've been having problems connecting to my VPN I get kicked off every couple of seconds which makes it very difficult to get my work done. after a day and a half they tell me i must go buy a lan cable and plug my laptop into the router, I've never worked this way before and I certainly don;t pay R912-00 per month for wireless internet to be hooked up to a cable????????? Wirulink has no integrity and will never deal with them again, I thank God that I didn't sign up with a term contract and I will be giving my notice. But my reason for this review is just to make sure that before you make a decision you consider ALL the costs. If there was an option for 'NO STAR' I would have chosen that one.

Well since the new R9,619-00 equipment, I am loosing internet which means my connection drops every couple seconds to minutes. I've been speaking to Wirulinks technical department, who don't know what the problem is and is just telling me that this is normal internet is unstable and their only suggestion is to work with a lan cable, which in any case they tested and we were told they couldn't find anything wrong. It's been 4 days of which I can't do my work because loosing signal all the time is not just frustrating but very time consuming, this a service for which I've paid upfront. I email daily and phoned in this morning again, I didn't experience this before they installed new equipment on Monday 14 December 2020 which I am paying R9.619-00 for besides the original R5,100-00 they charged me when I signed up. I have a 1 year old in the house walking around who will not leave a wire lying around, this is not a solution and Wirulink is just ignoring my complaints, it seams they don't know what the problem is and they just don't care, it's not them having this frustration and Management couldn't give a dam as they just keep on sending messages through a tech guy. I see that my next step would be going to the ombudsman as I am not getting what I am paying for, and I am not getting this resolved either.
