Wirulink asked me to take my business elsewhere but will not compensate me for the equipment they supp****

For the past month our Wirulink service has been erratic. Finally on 19 October 2016, they told me to take my business elsewhare and I asked them for a full refund for the equipment which they sold to me as part of the contract. They are hiding behind the fact the the system is more than 6 moths old. I want the system fixed, but they are telling me to go elsewhere. Why must I bear the loss of finding another supplier and buying more hardware becaue they told me they dont want my busienss any more?

Dear Alan
After extensive remote and onsite troubleshooting on your connection, we found your problems to be caused by trees/buildings negatively impacting your signal quality, which is out of the control of WIRUlink. At WIRUlink we are proud to be voted the best Wireless Broadband Provider in South Africa. To continue delivering on our excellent service promises, we informed you in writing that we are unable to deliver a quality connection to you. We also offered to not charge you for the monthly service fees in November while you look for another service provider.

Our accounts team are still awaiting your response to find out if you will be continuing with the less than ideal service or if you want to take up our November 2016 free service while you find another provider.

You can be assured of our continued commitment to offer excellent service at all times.

WIRUlink Management

I still have not received a satisfactory solution form your company. It is now one month since i complained. I checked the trees to which you refer. They did not grow overnight and I do not accept your explanation. Since you are the ones terminating the service I require that you put me back in the position that I was in before I started the service with you. I.E I want my money refunded for

A. Your equipment that you installed and I cannot use

B. A refund of subscription since the problem started

If you do not wish to do this, kindly advise me in terms of the Consumer act of 2012, to which bodies your industry reports, as well as the complaints procedure for each of those bodies

I wish to further point out that I sent emails to both your managing director and also to your technical director. Neither of them gave me the courtesy of a reply, so how exactly you commit to " excellent service" as noted above?

Dealing wiht you rcompany is exasperating and I would urge you to resolve my problem without further delay

ATTENTION THE MANAGING DIRECTOR

Dear SIR

I wish to record herein the following facts:

Your technical people were unable/unwilling to fix the problem which exists at my home for the internet service which you provide to me
Your Technical manager told me that I should take my business to another service provider, as you are unwilling/unable to resolve the problem which is due to no fault of mine
I have, on several occasions tried to resolve this matter via email and via hello peter.com, the transcript of which are available on that web site
You have today edited my account once again for an amount of R 699 *******ly, as you unilaterally decided to terminate the contract which exists between us
You also debited my account in November *******ly for the same reason
In terms of the Consumer protection act no 68 of 2008, you have failed to remedy the problem or made any attempt to resolve my complaint

I hereby put you on notice that I will be proceeding in 7 days from today to make claim for the following in terms on the Consumer Protection Act no 68 of 2008:

For repayment of the subscriptions as from the date on which the service was unavailable to me
For your company to remove the hardware and make good any damages which you make to my property in the process of removing it
For full repayment for the hardware due to your unilateral inability to provide me the service as well as the fact that you requested cancellation of this contract
Any legal costs incurred to recover these amounts
I further put you on notice that I intend to make similar complaint to ICASA for investigation of any breach of the Communications Act
