WIRUlink Pty Ltd's replyOfficial
11 Mar 2019, 10:29Dear Genevieve
Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback as we always strive to keep on improving.
As you are aware there is no WIRUlink network coverage at your location and you opted to extend the coverage from your parents' house to your own, to be connected. Your internet stopped working because your parents turned off their equipment at their house, leaving you with no internet.
Our support teams are well trained and do their best to get our clients Internet online as soon as possible. Our technicians attempted on 5 occasions to fix your connection, but could not gain access to your parents' house. In the end, we got hold of the new tenant at your parents' old house, to take over your parents connection, so the WIRUlink network coverage can still be extended to your location.
We stopped installing bridge connection to extend WIRUlink's coverage years ago for exactly the issues experienced by yourself as this negatively impacts WIRUlink's service delivery to you. Because it was your family, we made an exception to this rule. This was all explained in the terms and conditions when you opted to go for the bridge connection to your parents' house.
In terms of service credits for downtime, WIRUlink recently started offering Professional packages with an 8 hour SLA to cater for this requirement. Have a look at www.wiru.co.za/wireless for more information.
Yours faithfully
WIRUlink Management
Best regards,
