Hi Wynand, we understand how frustrating it must be to have your service terminated without the communication you expected, especially when trying to get assistance resulted in being redirected between teams. We’d like the opportunity to look into what happened and assist with the outstanding concerns. Please send us a private message with your account details so we can investigate the termination and review the support interactions linked to your account.Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Good day Webafrica team, you can find my account details with my number ***. The problem is on my 1000mb/1000mb line with frogfoot. You welcome to give me a call. It also sounds it will have to pay for the reconnection of my terminated internet which I never requested.

You can also get the information for me: The date and time the termination was processed. The reason for termination.  The alleged request/instruction to terminate.  The channel through which the request was allegedly received.  The call recording, email, WhatsApp message, online request or other evidence supposedly authorising termination.  A full account history showing what happened.

If I don't get my service up today, I will log compliant again Webafrica at ICASA and NCC.

Good day,

You can call me anytime from now till 17h00, but please make sure they have all the information:
The date and time the termination was processed. The reason for termination.  The alleged request/instruction to terminate.  The channel through which the request was allegedly received.  The call recording, email, WhatsApp message, online request or other evidence supposedly authorising termination.  A full account history showing what happened.

Please note none of the support agents could help according to them. All of them had excuses why they couldn't help. So please make sure that if the person that calls me can reconnect my terminated service while we on the phone and don't waste my time with all the dumb thing to test if fault is at my side.

Hi

Yes, I also send email to raise my concern to the complaints team with no replay. So I assume the response or call will not be today and would end up another day without internet and support.

I seems webafrica has a ghost town of employees, all of them just float around and does nothing, that's my experience.

No number of the person I can call, no direct support just another que one has to wait in till someone feels like helping you, then at end they feels its to much work so they redirect you to someone else. Whats happening here as well.

Once again redirected to another team.

No one is taking ownership of the problem just moving problem from one place to another.

 Regards,
Wynand

Hi Wynand,We understand why you feel that your query is being moved from one team to another without anyone taking ownership, especially after you’ve already contacted the Complaints Team by email and are still without service.Your concerns have been included in the complaint logged with our Complaints Team, including your experience with the previous support interactions, the termination of your service, the lack of clear communication and the information you have requested. The matter is being investigated so that the full history can be reviewed rather than having you repeat the same information to another team.We also acknowledge that you need a clear response and assistance with getting your service restored, rather than being redirected again.Warm regards,

Hi,Well, the fact that I haven’t actually received any meaningful support and have only been handled like a ping-pong ball, being passed from one person/team to another, doesn’t give me much confidence. So, please prove me wrong. I’ll be more than happy to be wrong, but at this point, I simply cannot see any real support being provided.Receiving a reply does not mean that I am receiving support. I need someone to actually take ownership of the issue and resolve it.
You probably just sent an email to them as well. Job done, right? I’m guessing you also can’t give me the name of someone who will actually take ownership of this issue. It’s just another email, another team, another handover, and another false promise that someone will eventually fix the problem, while you can go on with your day.
That’s exactly the issue I’m having. I don’t need another email to be sent or another department to be contacted. I need someone to take ownership of the problem and actually get it resolved.
Regards

Good day Webafrica,

I have to be honest, I am extremely frustrated with the way this is being handled.
The fact that you are still engaging with me on this chat, yet haven't made any attempt to call me, despite having my contact number, is honestly mind-blowing.
If these checks need to be carried out to resolve the issue, why has nobody simply picked up the phone and contacted me?
I have already spent a considerable amount of time trying to get this issue resolved, and I am still being passed around without any meaningful support or resolution. At this point, I need someone to take ownership of the problem and actually resolve it, rather than continuing with further messages and checks that could have been done over the phone.

My details are:
Pieter Wynand van der Merwe
39 Holly Oak, Welgevonden Estate, Stellenbosch

Please put me in contact with someone that can resolve it now.

Kind regards,
Wynand

Hi,I am the account holder. So, once again, I have no internet.Basically, it has taken you the entire day just to reach the point where you need to verify that the account actually belongs to me.The level of service I am receiving is honestly beyond frustrating. I genuinely did not think it could get any worse, but somehow it continues to do so.Please can someone put me in contact with someone that actually can do something...........

Good day Webafrica Team,

I believe one of the biggest issues is the way you handle customer support and resolve problems. As requested in the private reply, I asked for a full explanation as to why my service was terminated. This explanation has still not been provided to me.I am also not the only customer this has happened to, which suggests that there maybe a problem on your side that needs to be investigated. The fact that I have had to spend hours trying to get this issue resolved, without receiving a proper explanation as to why this happened and without receiving the requested call back to discuss the matter, is extremely disappointing and reflects very poorly on your customer service.I provided my contact number in the private chat and specifically requested a call back for assistance, as the WhatsApp support kept transferring me from one queue to another without actually resolving the issue. Despite requesting a call back, nobody contacted me.It also took an entire day for someone to ask me for additional information to verify my account, even though I had already provided my contact number linked to the account. Instead of simply calling me to confirm the details and resolve the issue, I received another private message on HelloPeter.I also have to question why a customer has to resort to posting a public review on HelloPeter before receiving any meaningful assistance. This experience has unfortunately highlighted how poor the current support process is. It is especially disappointing because I was previously a happy Webafrica customer. However, having to jump through so many hoops just to get basic support and an explanation for what happened is simply unacceptable.I would appreciate a proper explanation of why my service was terminated, what caused the issue, and why my requests for assistance and a call back were not actioned.

I look forward to receiving a proper response. To explain why this type of issue is occuring.

Also show proof of improvement. Then I will show my gratitude by changing my review.

Kind regards,
Webafrica

Hi Wynand,

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We understand how disappointing this experience has been, particularly after spending considerable time seeking clarity and trying to obtain assistance through multiple channels. We sincerely apologise that the requested contact did not take place.
After reviewing the matter with our Order Fulfilment Team, we identified a discrepancy between the profile information and the FRG (Fibre serial number) linked to the address. The relevant profiles have since been reviewed and successfully aligned so that the information now reflects correctly across the necessary systems. We also confirmed that our Support Team connected with you on 4 September and assisted in restoring the service remotely. Based on the latest information available, the service is currently operational. Our investigation further found that a completely new activation was not required, as the issue related to profile information requiring alignment across the relevant platforms. We recognise your concerns regarding communication, responsiveness, and the overall support experience. Your feedback highlights areas where your expectations were not met, and we take this seriously. It will be shared with our Service Quality Team for review and improvement as we remain committed to learning from customer experiences and improving the service we provide. We appreciate the opportunity to learn from this experience and to action improvements where it matters most. Thank you for your patience and for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns.

Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
