Worst ISP in the world

Don't ever sign up with this company. They are abusive. I have not had internet access collectively for almost a month this year. My internet is back up, but I have cancelled my contract and given the 1-month notice, but I must still pay a termination fee of R999.

Hi Mrshideeze,
We understand your frustration regarding the service interruptions you experienced and the impact this has had over the past months. We also note your concern regarding the termination fee following your cancellation notice.
Termination fees are app**** in line with the terms of the agreement; however, we recognise your dissatisfaction and the importance of ensuring your account has been correctly assessed given the service challenges you’ve described.
To assist further, please send your account details via private message so the matter can be reviewed in full and clarified for you.

Hi  Marshideeze
We are really sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration caused by the downtime you’ve faced. We understand how disruptive extended connectivity issues can be, and we truly regret the impact this has had on you.
Concerning the cancellation and termination fee, this is app**** in line with our service agreement terms. The fee generally covers costs associated with the setup, activation, and subsidised services provided at the start of your contract. For full details, you're welcome to review our cancellation policy here: Webafrica Cancellation Terms
That said, your experience matters to us. Please reach out via private message for any further discussion or support.
We appreciate your feedback and thank you for reaching out to us.

Warm regards,

I have been a customer for 5 years now, and I have kept my account up to date. WebAfrica has never had to chase me to pay my account, but I had to go from pillar to post to get my internet connection up and running. And I had to spend hundreds of Rands (if not thousands) on data. The only way to resolve this issue is to void the termination fee. There needs to be an exception, especially if you dropped the ball. That's how you show you genuinely care about your customers.

Hi Marshideeze,
We hear your frustration, and we understand how disappointing this has been after 5 years of maintaining your account in good standing. Having to rely on mobile data at your own cost while trying to get your service restored is understandably frustrating, especially when you’ve put in repeated effort to get support.
We can confirm that a fault has been logged with our Faults Team to investigate the service interruption and the impact it has had on your connection.
We also note your concerns regarding the termination fee and the request for it to be reviewed in light of the prolonged issues experienced. This has been recorded on your case for the relevant teams to assess as part of the overall investigation.
The team will continue working on the fault, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention so it can be properly addressed.
Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Hi Marshideeze,

We understand how frustrating it must be to receive communication regarding the termination fee and feel that you need greater clarity around the billing. We can confirm that the amount in question relates to the termination fee app**** to the account following the cancellation process. For more information on what happens when cancelling a Webafrica service, including the applicable cancellation process and related charges, please refer to the following article:
