Worst ISP in South Africa
I have an account with WebAfrica for at least the last 10 years. In July 2015 one of my websites stopped working and no technician at WebAfrica could resolve the problem. I moved the site to Hetzner and it was solved immediately by Hetzner. The past week I paid my invoices at Webafrica by EFT. They kept on sending me a reminder that I must pay R149. I requested an invoice and statement but got NO reaction. At last I paid the R149 but got no reply. My sites [URL Removed] etc) were suspended two days ago. I opened numerous support tickets but no response. No answer at the help centre. No one to help in the Live Chat Help - it diverts you back to the support tickets. In the last seven days: NO response from Webafrica except the suspension of my websites. I already moved four of my websites from WebAfrica to other ISP's - I will definitely move all my websites to better ISP providers and close my account in the next weeks.
This is very sad to hear and we can understand why you are upset with us.
Our guys were in touch with you to resolve this issue and thank you for the proof of payment because our Billing team managed to locate your payment so the suspension can be lifted off your account.
It is absolutely unacceptable that your tickets were not rep**** to promptly and we're sorry for that. Going forward, if you pick up any issues, please direct message us on Twitter or private message us on Facebook so we can attend immediately.
