WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH WEBAFRICA

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I’ve received from Webafrica.

I have now been without internet for 7 days, with no prior communication about the migration of my line from Vodacom to Vumatel. My connection was simply cut, and I’ve been left to chase updates ever since.

Over the past 6 days, I have repeatedly followed up through your WhatsApp support, but I continue to receive inconsistent information and no real resolution. Not a single agent has taken ownership of this issue or contacted me directly.

I work in logistics, where reliable internet is essential. Because of this ongoing issue, I’ve had to spend additional money on mobile data just to stay operations, this is both inconvenient and unacceptable.

Hi Anda, thank you for explaining everything so clearly, we completely understand how frustrating this has been, especially being without internet for 7 days and not receiving consistent updates while relying on it for your logistics work. Having to spend extra on mobile data just to stay operational is understandably not ideal at all. We want to confirm that your case is currently in progress with our Technical Faults team. We are actively investigating the line migration from Vodacom to Vumatel to understand exactly where the breakdown occurred and to get your connection restored as quickly as possible. We also hear your concern around the lack of clear communication and ownership during this process. That’s not the experience we want you to have, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to keep following up without clear answers. At this stage, the technical team is engaging with the upstream provider and working through the provisioning checks to get clarity and resolution in place. This is being treated as a priority fault, and we will continue to follow up until it is fully resolved. We’ll keep you updated as soon as there is movement, and we’ll make sure you’re not left in the dark going forward. Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Absolutely nothing is being done. I have been moving from agent to agent today trying to have this sorted. I have been told now that there is a backlog for the migration and that I must wait for an update that can take up to 72 hours. Who must pay for all these days without wifi?
What an appalling service from a service provider that constantly preaches about good customer service.

Hi Anda, we hear your frustration, and we understand how unacceptable this situation feels — especially after being moved between agents and still not having a working service. Being without WiFi while still being billed is understandably upsetting, and we do take your concern seriously. We want to confirm that your case is still open with our Technical Faults team under reference WA***. It is currently being worked on as part of the migration backlog affecting your line, and the team is actively engaged with the relevant network provider to resolve the delay and restore service. We understand your concern about the timeframes being mentioned and the lack of cer*****y around resolution. At this stage, we are continuing to follow up on your behalf to get a clearer update and progress on your specific case, rather than leaving it sitting in queue without attention. We will keep pushing for feedback and will update you as soon as we receive any progress or confirmation from the faults team. Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

And exactly 10 days later I am still sitting without connection after your agents told me on Tuesday, I would be connected by last evening. I am beyond shocked at the ridiculous service I have been getting from Webafrica. At this point I just want to part ways with this ********** service provider

Hi Anda, we can hear how frustrated and let down you feel, especially after being given an expectation of restoration by a specific time and still being without a working connection 10 days later. That kind of delay, combined with missed timelines, is understandably unacceptable from your perspective and we acknowledge the impact it’s had on you.We want to be clear that your case is still actively open and with our technical faults team, who are continuing to work on isolating and resolving the underlying issue. While progress has been made on the diagnostic side, the fault has not yet been fully cleared, which is why the connection has not been restored as expected. We also acknowledge that the communication around timelines has not been consistent, and that has added to your frustration. That should have been managed more carefully, with clearer and more realistic updates rather than overpromising. At this stage, the focus remains on getting the fault fully resolved as a priority, and ensuring you receive a stable connection rather than repeated failed attempts. We also respect your position regarding potentially parting ways, but would like the opportunity to first see this through properly and bring it to a resolution for you.Warm regards,
