What happened to Webafrica?
I have been a loyal customer to Webafrica for many years, however especially this last year they have depreciated to possibly the worst ISP in existence.

Started off this year with a 10mbit uncapped line. We got throttled to hell and beyond when we used around 3gigs per day on average, mind you we also got shaped during the hours of 12-6am when they claim to not throttle or shape.

After suffering for an extended period of time, we decided to move to a capped package. I half expected this to be better, but somehow Webafrica *****ed up even further, we are THROTTLED to oblivion on a CAPPED package. Now let's quickly go over what I mean by this: I cannot watch youtube videos in higher than 240p ON A TEN MEGABIT LINE. I cannot even dream of watching streams, even on mobile quality (160kbps), all webpages load slow and the internet is basically useless during \peak hours". Alright sure we are suffering a lot and getting *****ed over enough already right? RIGHT?

Sadly this is not the case"
We value your loyalty and support over the years. Having said that, the last thing we want to do is to upset you and we're sorry for that.
Our guys have been struggling to get hold of you from time-to-time, but the issue was your sync rate. This was logged with Telkom and it appears that this problem has been fixed by Telkom on Friday. If you pick up any issues, please contact us on *** or drop me a private message on Facebook or direct message me on Twitter.
We hope that this matter has been resolved to the level of your satisfaction and we would like to encourage you to update this post to reflect this resolution offered.
