Webafrica/Vuma home broadband issues
Since November 10, my mom has been reporting a total loss of service of the Webafrica/Vuma home broadband services. It's amazing that a home broadband service provider doesn't have a consumer care department that deals with their broadband failures, all they have is a automated response from a whatsapp number which is unable to direct you to a personwho is skilledto resolvehome broadband issues. My mom who is 62 years old has been without broadband services since Saturday. Yesterday she was told to check her emails for an OTP number that has been sent which will help restore the service, she patiently waited to receivethe OTP that she was promisedto receive yesterday but no OTP was sent. Now it seems as if the service provider doesn't even know how to resolve this issue. This issue is now becoming costly as kids in the house are writing their final exams and my mom had to resort to buying costly mobile data after paying the full monthly subscription. No contact has been made by Webafrica or their affiliates Vuma to advise how they are working on resolving the issue, all we have is the whatsapp robot which is not very smart for a robot that is supposed to handle consumer issues, since the robot is failing to assist it means the issue will continue until the monthly subscription over and anotherpayment has to be made without receivingthe servicesyou are paying for. My mom currently has no TV excess because of this issue, is expected to buy more mobile data to ensure that the kids are able to study and prepare for their ongoing exams, she has to buy mobile data to connect with friends and family and these are the cost she had already covered by paying her monthly subscription on time as required by the standards of Vuma and Webafrica to provide home broadband services. Webafrica/Vuma shows no sense of emergency or empathy towards their customers now a pensioner has to find alternatives using the little pension money she receives from the government. This issue caused a lot of stress and financial loss. I'm writing this review in a desperate hope that Webafrica and its partners Vuma will receive the review and offer a resolution to this problem and also advise how they are planning to make up for all the financial losses and stress they have caused.
Can a representative from Webafrica/Vuma call my mom on *** she is a 65 year old woman who has attempted to resolve this issue but has been failed by the service provider she pays every month. The representative should explain how they are working of resolving this issue, when are they planning to restore the service and how are they planning to compensate for the stress and financial loss they've caused.
