Webafrica’s Inept and Useless Service.
I have been months without decent service from Webafrica. For the last eight days no service at all. I have spent three days for eight hours each day working with technicians on line who have all of them finished my session of painful instructions being carried out by me, with the statement that they are sorry but they will have to log a fault! That I need to wait 24 hours, the latest one 48hours and I will be back on line, no problem. I am now in the middle of the 48 wait period. Again! The truth is that they are unable to fix the problems created using the pathetic working on line system between themselves and the poor customer. I say poor because, it is impossible to get to talk to the same person twice, they all leave you with promises, no one EVER does a call back to see if the problem is resolved. The customer then has to start all over again, hours and days later, still no internet. All the time the poor customer is paying for the inept and useless service which is barely being provided. It is impossible to talk to anyone, they protect themselves completely from incoming calls. I have asked again and again for a supervisor to call me. The chat room is pathetic. Three and four minutes before you get a response from ‘one of our technicians ‘ as they say. Then when they do respond they don’t read my WhatsApp’s and are dealing with three or four other calls at the same time. They have not been trained to communicate, half of them are not of clear diction and mumble. Sorry seems to be the only word they know. It is said time and again and means diddly squat! They are not sorry at all!! There should be a law against service like this. Money being ****** from customers day after day. Useless service and no communication!! My number is available to them, my email is available to them, I have refunds due to me up the gazoo. It is pointless trying to get a refund. The inconvenience and difficulties around changing a service provider are far reaching. It should be legally possible to obtain the service which is promised when signing up, their practice is deceptive, misleading and pathetic. They should be closed down.
