WebAfrica's "FREE" Upgrades will still cost you...

In the process of upgrading packages, WebAfrica moved my package from a 250/100Mbps package to a 300/150Mbps package, but the pricing strategy around this was shocking: Up to February 2023, I was charged R1099/month Then I was informed the price would increase from that to R1149/month starting March 2023 due to industry pricing pressure, which I accepted as part of normal business. However, in April I was charged R1199 and on investigating I found that my package had been upgraded to a 300/1500 Mbps package, but that this package costs R969 on their website and I was charged the R1199 for the original 250/100Mbps package... Huh? Now, on the 3rd of April, WebAfrica "upgraded" me to the 300/150Mbps package at R969/month, but only effective END of April, and are blankly refusing to provide it during April 2023 - for which I've already been charged the R1199 (for the 250/100 Mbps line, which isn't one of their offerings anymore).

This is no way to engender customer loyalty, especially in the current economic environment in SA, and if this review can warn even 1 customer about these odd pricing strategies, I'll be happy.
