WebAfrica worst service

Over the past few months, I have experienced the worst service I have ever received from any service provider, which ultimately forced me to cancel my service with them, effective 1 March. I provided the required 30 days’ notice and received both a cancellation reference number and written confirmation.

Despite this, I am unable to activate my new service with my new ISP because my line still reflects as active with Webafrica. This is in direct contradiction to the confirmation I received stating that my line would be cancelled and released on 1 March.

For the past 28 hours, I have been trying to get assistance from an agent. The only available communication channels are WhatsApp and live chat via the app. During this time, I have been passed from one department to another without resolution. Since 17h00 yesterday, I have repeatedly received a message stating that an agent will be with me shortly, yet no one has assisted me.

This situation is utterly frustrating and completely unacceptable. I cannot proceed with my new ISP until Webafrica releases my line, and there is no direct contact number available to escalate the matter.

The level of service I have experienced is shocking, and based on this experience, I would not recommend Webafrica to anyone.

Good afternoon, Cindy. Thank you for sharing this in such detail. After giving proper notice and receiving confirmation, not being able to get your new connection up and running would understandably be frustrating. Being passed between channels without resolution only adds to that frustration. We are here to help you.

Thank you to WebAfrica for reaching out to me. I am just wondering do they have enough information on me to find my account so they can assist me

Good day, up until now, no one has reached out to me and nothing has been done to assist me. Via WhatsApp and the App if I am lucky enough to find an agent after hours of waiting, I simply get transferred to another agent, to wait more hours and to just get transferred again. I am losing business and cannot work without wifi. I need my line released so my new ISP can take over

This matter is now getting worse. Finally got hold of an agent, saying that my line will only be released 29 March. I cancelled on 31 January and got a text and confirmation from agents on several occasions that my line will be cancelled effective end February and my line will be released 1 March. I need someone to contact me so this can be sorted. Now the agent is not replying to me. From 1 March I have no internet connection anymore. I am not sure what this 29 March is all about. Can someone please contact me. This is utterly frustrating
