Webafrica worse service provider ever!

I am beyond frustrated with Webafrica right now. My internet has been down for DAYS, and getting help has been an absolute nightmare. I’ve contacted them through every possible portal calls, emails, tickets, you name it and all they do is pass me around from one agent to another.

Every time I think something is finally being sorted, they open a new order… only to cancel it again with zero explanation. No accountability, no clear communication, and definitely no urgency. It honestly feels like no one there knows what they’re doing or cares enough to fix the issue.

This is completely unacceptable for a service people rely on daily. If you’re considering Webafrica, think twice because when something goes wrong, you’re on your own.

Hi Mymoena, the frustration in your message is completely understandable. Being without internet for several days, especially after multiple attempts to get help across calls, emails, and tickets, is exhausting, and being moved between agents without a clear resolution only makes it worse. That lack of consistent feedback and clarity is not the experience you should be having with a critical service like this.
To move things forward properly, an escalation has now been submitted to have a new payment link generated and sent through urgently. This is to unblock the repeated order cancellations and ensure the process can proceed without further delays or resets.
At this stage, the focus is on stabilising the situation and getting a clear, uninterrupted path to resolution, rather than restarting the process again. Once the payment link is issued, the next steps will be confirmed immediately so there’s no further confusion or unnecessary back-and-forth.
Warm regards,

Webafrica Left Me Without Internet — And Won’t Let Me Switch Providers

After Webafrica’s response to my original review, let me be very clear: absolutely nothing has changed. I was contacted again, only to be told that I can only terminate my service on 31 May — and today is only the 7th.
So now I’m stuck in an unbelievable situation where I have no internet at all, yet I’m also blocked from moving to another provider because Webafrica refuses to release my line until month-end. In other words, I’m expected to sit without a working service for weeks while still being trapped with them.
The most frustrating part is the constant promises that things are being “escalated” or “sorted urgently,” but nothing actually happens. No real resolution, no accountability, and no consideration for the impact this has on customers who rely on internet access daily for work, communication, and basic life.
At this point, the experience has gone from poor service to feeling completely held hostage by a provider that cannot deliver the service but also won’t allow me to leave immediately.
I would strongly caution anyone considering Webafrica to think carefully before signing up, because when things go wrong, getting help or a fair resolution seems nearly impossible.

Hi Mymoena, we understand how frustrating this situation is, especially with no active internet while also being unable to immediately transition to a new provider. When service continuity is disrupted like this, it understandably creates a lot of pressure and inconvenience.
Our team has  sent an escalation to Vumatel requesting a manual termination of the current service, so the line can be released and the activation of the new order can proceed without waiting for the standard end-of-month cycle. The request has been marked for urgent attention to reduce further delay.
At this stage, the focus is on getting the line released from the network side as quickly as possible so the new service can be activated and you’re not left without connectivity any longer than necessary.
Once Vumatel confirms completion of the manual termination, the next update will be shared immediately so the new order can move forward.
Warm regards,
