Webafrica. What terribly service. ****MERS!!!
Experienced the worst service with this people ever!!! I am disgusted. My mother took out WiFi with webafrica and was advised that her package has everything they will not charge for installation and the cancellation is easy as you just call and your services will be cancelled incase you move. We called in December and requested cancellation and was advised that we should cancel in January as the month has already started we moved out of the place in the beginning of December and called again to cancel in January as our account was debited even if we didn't use the services and requested to cancel. We cancelled and were advised that a cancellation will be scheduled for February as you cannot just cancel immediately and now I am receiving an invoice for double the amount. We do not live at the place for 5 months now how the hell is this possible. Spoke to an agent Amira M and she clearly stated that it's my issue. Asked to speak to a manager and was advised that I will get a callback within 24-48hrs. What happened to customer service. Guys please be careful of this provider. Infact if you are not yet a provider don't even consider it. Save yourself the money and the heartache.
Hi Merchelene,Thank you for taking the time to share this, and we’re truly sorry to hear about the frustration and confusion this experience has caused you and your family. We hear how upsetting it is to feel like cancellation timelines, billing, and communication have not aligned with what was initially expected, especially when you’ve already moved out and believed the service had been terminated. That kind of uncer*****y around billing is understandably distressing. From what you’ve described, this will need a proper review of the full account history, including the cancellation request timelines, billing cycles, and service status. To do that securely and access the correct account, could you please send us the account holder’s registered email address via private message? Once we have that, we’ll be able to pull up the profile and ensure this is investigated thoroughly by the right team.We also want to make sure this is handled properly and not left unresolved. Once verified, we’ll be able to review exactly what happened and assist with getting clarity on the charges and cancellation status. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’re here to work through it with you.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
