Webafrica - Very Bad Experience

It was with utterly disgust that I learned last night that a debit order to the amount of R3764.00 went off my account without my consent. I would like to bring the following to your attention : 1. I requested on 30 April online on the webafrica website that my line be transferred to my new address effective 1 June and effectively did this with 30 days notice. 2. I made contact with webafrica on various occasions during the month of May to track progress but got no answers (I have mails to proof this) 3. 1st of June came my line wasn’t ready and still Webafrica couldn’t provide me with answers or any idea when my line would be up and running seeing that I do a lot of work from my home and this meant potential lost of income. 4. I eventually found somebody at SADV that agreed to look into the matter and I was then told that the order for my line with SADV was never done by Webafrica. I have an email to confirm this. 5. I then approached another SP and they agreed to sort this for me ASAP. 6. My line was up and running within 7 days. 7. I contacted Webafrica and explained to a consultant what happened and she could actually trace and track the history and her response was sir we feel your frustration, you should have a recording of that conversation. 8. I informed you the other day that your rooter is packed in a box and ready for collection.

I gave Webafrica 60days to resolve this but with no joy. Eventually another SP managed to sort this for me within 7 days. My income depends on having WiFi. I was left with no choice but to cancel agreement.

I queried and reversed the debit order this morning at my bank and did a stop order for future debit orders, you can go ahead and credit my account as well as refund me an extra R40 for the bank charges for reversing the debit order. A copy of this mail will be forwarded to my lawyers and I will post it on social media as well.
