Webafrica the worst of the worst isp`s

The worst service provider i ever encounted. Internet connection kept dropping, they send vuma to replace router but still problem persist and just ignore my complaints. After a month of this i decide to move over to Afrihost and therefore not pay for another month with this circus called Webafrica. They rightly suspend the line due to non payment, so i contact Afrihost to get connected only to find that Webafrica needs to release the line first before another isp can connect me. I call them only to be told that the fibre line will be automatically released due to non payment. After 3 days of non payment i was told by Afrihost the line has still not been released, but by now i had a good idea of how Webafrica operates and fully expected what would happen next. The first thing i was told was that they could perform a cancellation/release with immediate effect but only on an active line, not on a suspended line like mine was. I asked the agent to simply activate the line then immediately do a cancelation which he just ignored and kept repeating about suspended lines cant be released. Never mind the fact that i was told my suspended line will auto cancel due to non payment, by now i knew the answer but still asked how long does it take to auto cancel due to non payment, their answer is 30 days to auto cancel.

I sat from 13:42 to 16:57 trying to get this sorted without a resolution. Eventually i paid for another month thinking maybe the line drop can be sorted so i contacted them again, an agent came on greeted as normal and after i explained the issue to him this guy just decided to not even talk to me anymore. Its now been 2 hours without a reply. He did not close the chat though, he just do not reply

Hi Fabian,
We understand your frustration, particularly after the ongoing connectivity issues and the difficulty you’ve experienced with getting clear assistance regarding the cancellation and release of your fibre line.
We’ve checked the account and can confirm that a cancellation has been logged and is currently scheduled for 1 October 2026.
We can also confirm that a fault has been logged with our Faults Team regarding the ongoing internet connection issues. The team will investigate the connectivity problem and assist with the fault.
We acknowledge the concerns you’ve raised regarding the time spent trying to get assistance and the conflicting information you received about the cancellation and line release.
Warm regards,

Your acknowledgement and understanding of the situation does not help me much, im still sitting with a line that drops 3 out of 10 pings and a helpdesk that takes 5 minutes between questions. Knowing webafrica this will probably be sorted by the tine i move over to afrihost. This will now be the the 3rd month i paid for internet i can not use.
