Webafrica - The Rip-off ISP

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. They are a complete rip-off! Your account is debited without your permission for charges no one informs you about.

When I tried to cancel my service—three times—I was promised a credit for the following month. And guess what? They still debited my account, even with that supposed credit.

For those unaware (since this isn’t clearly stated on their website), when you move homes, they charge you a R250 “move home fee”. Then, they bill you for both the new address and the old one, meaning you could end up paying R2,500 just to move. In contrast, canceling would cost only R900, and you could simply take the line again at the new house.

Everything they claim is a lie. I have written proof from seven agents on WhatsApp about what they promised as an apology, yet they did the exact opposite.

My advice: go with Vox instead. You’ll never have billing issues. Stay far away from Webafrica!
