Webafrica the Horrible

We cancelled our service with Webafrica at the end of May 2025 due to us selling our house and the new owners were continuing with their own ISP. On cancellation we were advised that the router would have to be returned or a fee of R999 would be charged, collection could be arranged at a fee of R249 which I agreed to, this was the beginning of the nightmare. Following up multiple times for the collection to be told it wasn’t requested correctly, then collection not happening, then conveniently collection only happens on the 31 July, coincidence? The debit order for R999 went off my account on 1 August, look at that. I have since then been following up for the refund, to them not having the waybill (sent on multiple occasions) to them not finding the returned router (collection arranged by them) to having to send a bank statement to prove that they took the money (which they admitted they can see it was debited) to now at the end of August and no end in sight of getting a refund, it has been the most ********** experience dealing with this company and I have nothing good to say about them, once if ever the refund happens, good riddance Webafrica I will never recommend nor use their services again
