Webafrica takes my money and my account is closed
I moved to a new residence back in August 2020 and requested my Webafrica account to take effect at my new address on 1 September 2020. Closer to the time I requested an update on the move as I needed the new connection established as soon as possible to the 1st of September and Webafrica could not even give me a possible date on a new connection. At that time Vodacom offered me a Fibre package and said they could have me up and running by the 2nd of September 2020. At that time I cancelled my account with Webafrica and I RECEIVED CONFIRMATION FROM WEBAFRICA that my account was closed meaning that my last debit order would be on 1 September 2020. It is the 15th of November and I am still fighting with Webafrica to close my account and refund the debit orders they ran on the 1st of October and November of +/-R970 each time. How Webafrica can justify servicing me to my Vumatel object point outisde my home when Vodacom has had access to it from 1 September 2020. In these difficult financial times it is rediculous that a company can take ones money ********ly without even taking your case and complaints seriously. Their customer contact services is none existent and the WhatsApp service to the public is awful. The only way I could get their attention is to contact them is via Twitter and even that is fruitless. Does everyone have another possible way to resolve this?
