WebAfrica poor quality service hiding behind WhatsApp screens!!
The WhatsApp service is pathetic, and you cannot contact a human person in person at all even if you try.
I had a simple query about billing, wanting to pay my account online with my credit card instead of a debit order. Usually, the online payment is immediately available, except this month, by the 4th, I still could not access the online payment method.
Forced to deal with the likes of Mbali M through WhatsApp, the experience, as I could predict, was nothing but painful. The one-liner answers and her clearly not even looking at my account or investigating the issue was incredibly frustrating. There was no will to provide me with a service. I'm convinced she was answering me over a mobile phone and not even at a desk with access to my account.
When I asked her for a reference and surname, Mbali promptly transferred and I ended with Anele.
Anele did not do much more other than more one-liners. I suspect, at that point, someone did investigate my account and realised the error. When I refreshed my screen, the online payment option was available, and Anele then transferred me again after I asked for a reference number and Mbali's surname. So either Mbali M did go and make an effort to look at my account, or Anele was doing her job. Either way, I have no reference number to refer to.
Here is a message to Mr Steven Nourse:
If you want your organisation to succeed, I suggest you evaluate the quality of your first-line support at all levels. People like Mbali M will be the downfall of WebAfrica.
Mbali M was not interested in my problem, did not care if I did not pay my account and was in my opinion eating her breakfast, and drinking coffee fielding support calls on her mobile phone, considering the spelling mistakes and quick one-line responses.
The fact that I could not get a reference number or her full name and department details (transferred at the drop of a hat) takes power away from the consumer with your employees hiding behind WhatsApp messages that are definitely not revolutionary but rather *************. I had to end the chat to get my session reference: #***.
